I think for myself. I never said i didn't. The weak aren't always the ones that turn to God. I have known about him since i was 3 at least thats when i understood. It is normal to turn to God b/c you are weak, and ask for help when you pray. But am I Weak. No, i am not I'm taking the lord into my life b/c I'm now living a much cleaner life. And i now know i will not go to hell.

heres a question i would like answered
you say the meaning of life is "happiness, to be happy, live a good life"...
What if you can't find happiness? How do you find it? what if your lost inbetween searching for it? what if you dont know why your living but just go with it Because.
I think if you cannot naturally find happiness, you must turn to drugs.
I know what you are saying though, as I am going through a mode of depression myself. When I am depressed, I find happiness in nothing, except maybe eating candy. In this instance, I should then go buy and run my own confectionary or candy store, and live in bliss. I think almost always there will be at least 1 thing that makes you happy. If not, get on the the anti-depressant meds (or weed)

I always say "Whatever blows your bubble, as long as it's not popping someone else's."
Please just respect other people's beliefs and so forth. I'm not saying you're wrong Craig, not at all. I don't agree with you, but I can respect your belief. All I'm asking is that you respect mine and not indirectly threaten people like myself of "going to hell."

I am pretty convinced these days that the meaning of life is about the process, not the goal. Just like many other things in life. For instance playing footbag - is there a big unquestioned goal I aim to achieve by shredding every once in a while? Not for me, I enjoy the process and don't have anything specific in mind as a regards a long-term target. Think about it a minute and maybe you'll find it as simple as that too

Stay away from those new-fangled anti-depressants. They can do nothing, or worse.
Stick to the old fashioned drugs that have been around since the 60's or 80's. At least they are a known quantity, not the new
"suicide pills" they release every day.

The meaning of life is love (not to be confused with happiness).
In reply to LinkYs and those who knock what he writes, humans are weak and therefore turning to religion is only a natural means of finding comfort in the belief of a "higher power". Comfort is always found in a loving confidence whether it's a friend feinting consolidation or the belief of an all-loving "father". Religion is not weak -- religion gives strength to the weak.

see the problem with religion is that it could very well be an over-exadgeration of the truth possibly forcing people into unneccisary sacrifices to protect them from the natural fear of death. If death is inevitable and religion is wrong then living religiously is in vain. And to say that you need faith to believe that it isnt wrong is just a huge crapshoot that doesn't really seem worth it..
But I remember someone said that you might as well live a religious life. When your mortal life ends and they're wrong.. well you're dead. But if they're right, your ok. But What if theres another phase of life, outside of mortality that is attainable regardless of what happens in your mortal life? Then religion is really really flawed.. Maybe if I'm going to throw faith out there I may put it in that belief system.

the meaning of life is life itself.
Anyone who has taken a psycology class knows everything we think, feel, see, and experience is a process of the function of our brain and organs. The human "spirit" is begining to be proven to be a mathmatical formula created by neurons and chemicals and cells.
Religion is fine as long as you aren't close minded enough to think that your religion is absolutly right. The one thing I don't like about catholisism is the saying "god created man in his own image". What ever god is, IT isn't man. IT doesn't have lungs or eyes or a dick. IT is a lot deeper than mankind.
The meaning of life can be as seriouse as you want it to be, or it can be a joke. The meaning of life is to do a dropless routine with at least 5 5's and a shred 30 above 200. Vasek and Honza have found the meaning of life...

Colse your eyes and think of your idol. Does that person have reglion? Are they weak? Are you stronger than them since you don't have religon? And think about that and how stupid it sounds when you make a mass judgement about a group of people.
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.
