What's up!
Here is a video featuring Chris May(shredster) He mailed me a copy on CD so I could host it for him. He has improved like crazy from the videos that I first saw of him. This guy has a lot of potential... Hits a bunch of 5s in the vid.
Download is 19megs, but my server is really fast and as long as you have a high speed connection it should be fine.
Enjoy!

1 year!!! It's nice to see some hq video of you compared to those
webcam shots. You're damn good for playing one year. Props!
Nice atomics, great shuffling, wow.

Yes. Very impressive.
It looks like you have a very solid foundation, Chris. The only advice I can give you is to school your same-leg double dexes, getting them as deep as possible. Some of your barrages/paradons looked a little thin. Perhaps starting the first dex more uptime might help. It'll come.
I wish I had your mad skillz after only one year.

Thanks heaps you guys.
I really agree on the drilling double downs for sure. In fact, those are tricks i'm using in my runs more (its strange how much a week does for you).
The hackrifice040220 i had watched many many many times before you posted that here erik. Its an awesome video with awesome music (inspired me to not only play harder, but to buy century child).
Also, could someone define shuffling? I thought it was tripless with one dex uptime and one dex downtime. And if thats the case, i wasn't really shuffling that much. I'm working incredbly hard on some 4's and stepping.
I think this was a bad time to post this video partly because worlds is coming up
Naw, its still cool though, glad you guys enjoyed it.

Shuffling is just all moves back-to-back with an uptime component (more could probably be added to this definition, but "shuffle" does not disclude 3 trips (ie: smear > pixie same mirage [repeat] = shuffle). I'm not even sure if 2 dexes is a requirement of shuffle (ie: blurry clipper)...)
Century Child, I thought, was actually their worst album. Their best song EVER is Over the Hills and Far Away (should be a classic metal tune. So epic!), and I get shivers every time I listen to Elvenpath! They're ALL so good. Come Cover Me is another super one! And Dead Boy's Poem!
In the sheltering shade of the forest
Calling calming silence
Accompanied only by the full moon
The howling of a night wolf
And the path under my bare feet
The Elvenpath

I really liked the video chris.
You are improving loads. Couple things to keep in mind and to work on in the future:
1. be careful of doing too many big moves. I notice you fell on a few of the bigger moves like scorpions tail. Much better to school the basics hard and then hit the big ones later with ease. This can help keep you injury free. ( I know I always say this )
2. Work on smoothing out your style. Some runs were a little choppy. This will probably smooth out on its own as you get more and more comfortable with long guiltless runs. Try to flow more with your moves... hard to explain, watch lon.
3. While training double dexes make sure to film yourself and review the video. It is too hard to accurately see yourself while doing the dex, but video can help you see if they are clean. more uptime will help!
Hopefully this didn't come across as harsh criticism... I think you are progressing nicely! Keep up the awesome work!
p.s. I like your reverse whirls... although it was tough for me to see that those far symposium reverse whirls were not ps whirls until after I watched the vid a few times. You don't see those too often... keep it up!

Umm, yeah, i really don't go for that many big moves that often. If after a few attempts i find i can't hit the move, i do something else. Scorpions tail was definatly an interesting one. As for smoothing my style, it will come...trust me
And actually, i think wishmaster was one of the best (nightwish).
O yeah, and james, as for keeping injury free...a funny thing happened. I was just doing a basic little string and there is a crack in the middle of where i play. Almost twisted my ankle in that crack doing something like a smear or something...haha!
