I found out 3 yrs ago while going to witzerland for a footbag comp that airlines offer compensation if you volunteer to take a later flight when yours is full. Since that day, everytime I've taken the plane I've volunteered to take a later flight. Just volunteering will earn you 75$ (even if you end up taking the flight you'd originally planned on taking). Then if you end up taking a later flight you get compensated more depending on how long you had to wait. Anyway, todau for my flight to Canda I didn't even have to ask, this airline chick walks up and asks if I'm travelling alone (yes) and if I wouldn't mind volunteering for a later flight in 3 hours in exchange for 300 Euros (pretty close to USD)... I thought about it and said "look this is a 7 hour flight, it's pretty long... I'll take the later flight if you put me in business" she said she'll see, she didn't think so blah blah.. I just smiled and asked her if she could try really really hard, she did and basicly here I am in business lounge sipping on champagne, logged on to modified, 300 Euros in my pocket and gonna travel business to Canada...

ok Well I probably won't be shredding today.. and hopefully sleeping on the flight! They have so much alcohol here it's ridiculous!!

Actually, my family flew down to Florida where we have a Marriot timeshare. But before the flight, they announced that they were overbooked and some of the people who didnt get seats had to get there to take a cruise, and if they didnt they would miss the boat and be completely fucked. So they ask for volunteers, my dads like well maybe we should, but doesnt go up. They raise the money, 300...500...700.., the family who is not on the plane has 2 little girls hysterically crying, so my dad goes up and says to them, "We'll do it for 700 a person but you have to give us a free dinner at the airport." So basically waiting 4 hours got us 2800 USD and a nice dinner. Not bad.

im 16, i was never on a plane... we always drove every where we went used to drive from BC canada to pennselvanya 5 times a year... long trip but i always took pills an slept the hole way ... Valiums
i hope one day when im older i will travle alot... i want to see every thing i can an meet as many ppl as posibule.

I've been on a plane many many times. It seems normal to me. I've become used to traveling by air alot, so hearing someone say they've never been on an airplane surprises me.
