Jorden Moir BAP?

Post by sampotter »

After watching the Lovely vid, and seeing how smooth his style is, how huge he busts, and how innovative his tricks are, I think he's a definite contender. What are some of your thoughts? I don't really know how the competition stands and how everyone is playing, but man, he's so good!

I'm at work so I don't have the video with him, but one trick he busted made me say "holy shit" and I thought it was very inventive. He seems to be a very cool dude.

Awesome!! That's really great, I was thinking more about it, and I realized he was a shoe in. Not only is he an absolute beast, he's also a very positive force, it seems. He's helped a lot organize that club in Brantford, and it's grown a lot, as far as I know. I wish I was in Montreal witnessing all this!

Aside from that, how's it looking BAP-wise? Who does it look like will be inducted this year?

That guy is insane, he's got his own really unique style too, that's why I love watching him so much. There was so much footage of him in MTL Im sure alot of it will make its way onto modified.

I'll eat all my 20 pairs of socks if he don't get to the BAP. (he seems like a cool guy, too, so there's no reason why he couldn't make it)

Considering he's been holding his own in BAP circles for multiple hours at a time - Ie. Appx 6 hours straight in the main circle at Place Des Arts, and busting some inventive and lengthy runs, I would say he has a pretty good shot too.

However, I don't know how they decide these things. Maybe because it's his first Worlds (I think?) they will wait to see if he's in it for the long run? I don't know... At any rate, the skill is obviously there.

we just got back from montreal (most of the ontario crew) and had to leave before the induction which really sucks, but if jorden didnt get in then I dont know who would, they should induct him even though he wasnt there for the final awards

I just got back from Montreal and am waiting to hear the news... personally I think he has such a good chance. Like people have already said, the skill is there for sure. He also seems like a nice guy, I had the pleasure of meeting him and talking with him a few times. Good luck Jorden and congrats on getting into Finals!

*is shaking with anticipation*

I think Jorden and Jere will make it.

How about Derek? I haven't heard anything about him, though I know he must've turned heads.
