A quick post of some big stuff that was hit but hasn't been mentioned:

Jorden: Floating Butterfly (Symp Quantum Quantum Butterfly / Reverse Warped Butterfly) It is so cool to see that he made the finals. He has really been tearing it up here, and he deserves it.

Ales: Paradox Your Mom off his foot. Gyro Bedwetter.

Felix: He had Cheese Processor off his foot barefoot.

Johnny Murphey: Paradox Bladerunner

Jere Linnanen: Double Symp Blurrier. He finished his routine with a Torch-R-Rack. He has such a powerful style. Last night, I don't think anyone shredded harder than he did last night.

Vasek: He ended his semi-finals routine with Montage > Spinning P. Blender

Yacine: Yacine had one of the best semis routines ever. It was dropless and everything was exactly on beat. It was amazing. The whole theater erupted when he finished.

Justin: Blurry Mofly and Shooting Ducking Whirl.

Red was showing bits of Fourkast. It looks really good, and will be about an hour and a half long. It should be finished shortly after Worlds. Honza had a number of copies of Champion's League here, but they were in PAL format. Daryl got a NTSC copy from Masa so that should be available soon from Freedom Footbags. Copies of Sick 03 are supposed to be on sale on Saturday. Fred said they had a copy for you Erik.

Women's Routine Semi Finals:
1)Carol
2)Verena
3)Sunny
4)Caro (Didn't make it to finals)

GF Smoothie almost made it to finals, which would of meant that he did for 15 years in a row (beating Kenny Shults's 14 years)
He tied 3 with Johnie Murphy and was beaten by Ales Zelinka and Yacine Merzouk. (Amazingly tough pool!)

David Clavens won Intermediate Routines. Many think he should of been in open though. He hits 4s and 5s in guiltless flow.... 2nd place intermediate has competed in open before. People need to get there morals straight...

I in fact think that he should have competed intermediate, and I am happy for him. He must have played veery well and he definately deserved his victory. This was his first worlds and he is not a veteran of competition. Thus it was not that he was sandbagging; he was simply a top competitor at the intermediate level and he executed to his ability level.

glad to see johnny went so well even if he didnt quite make the cut.. third in semis pool is freakin huge regardless! consider the competition too

i think fairy tripstein would be more like phasing ripstein, so the first 2 dexes are done uptime.. then it becomes more realistic

fingers crossed for vaska in the finals.. 2 drops is not gonna cut it this year!

Caleb here, at the local internet cafe in Montreal. I havent read all these updates but ièm stuck here because the first day of bad weather we had all week. I just wanted to say that these Fins are good. They all look the same to me so I cant tell you who hit what but like all of them will be BAP. Its kind of depressing theyre so good, there wasnt enough room in the finals for legends like Scott Davidson and Greg Nelson.

Oh and Jordan Moir lives up to the hype. When I met him one year ago he was hitting big tricks, but only one or two contact strings. Now hes busting those monster tricks in between 20+ strings every time he gets the bag.

I am getting inspired by the shred. I hit blurry whirl, stepping whirl, (repeat). And blurry whirl, blurry whirl, blurriest, scorp tail, spinning pdx whirl, and dropped on mobius. I need to work on swirl stuff too. It seems like at worlds you arenèt shit unless you can ripstein with ease.

On the topic of Barraging Ducking, I think it was Peter or Ahren who asked Vasek about it around the same time he was attempting Frontside Fury set Butterfly.

Vasek said not yet, but he was setting about chest height at Euros.

hmm, just wanted to say that it wasn't Ales who beat Greg Nelson in semifinals. It was Jordan Moir and Yacine. Murphy and Greg were third.

Lots of good players and tough pools. Think about how hard a first round pool had to be that Scott Davidson didn't make to semifinals.

Yep, the pool of death. Pretty tough, but that's just how it goes. We did the seeding as accurately as we could and the pools came out a real dog fight for some. I didn't agree with all the results- like Nate Linscott not making it through the pool of death for example, but that's the breaks. Nate went first and made an awesome 1-drop routine. It also goes to show that not even a top player can drop 6 times and *expect* to make the cut. The level is advancing through the roof. Props to Nate for handling it maturely.

so when it says that Toni P ripped open the Sick 3,did he win with that combo? i mean its huge and all and props to him for hitting a beast, but Vaskas stock combo Montage>whirlwind>spinning pdx blender is bigger than that IMO.. and he has alot sicker stuff to hit now than last yr...

wow so 3 years in a row for Vasek! well done! dropless for the top 3... what competition! thats heaps good
was Nemesis hit in Sick 3 this year?
