I might start making footbags soon and I was wondering where you guys buy fillers?
Are there any places I can get it online? (I’m pretty sure I will not find any good stuff down here in Wolfville)
You can get mirco plastic pellets from craft stores where they sell the stuff to make dolls. Most 32 stitchers use a combination of stuff to make their fillers. So try alot of stuff out to find what you like best.

I would try bb's instead. Just because they have some weight to them but they might not rip the bag as ceramics might do. Plus the ceramics might roll alot.
I have to agree with Richie... I've found that for my heavy filler, I really like to use hardened lead shot (for shotgun shells) preferably size 7 1/2.... it's about the same size as seed beads... but of course I have nowhere near the experience that Sir Richard has.... just my $0.02
That type of filler works great for shred bags. The key thing is finding the right filler ratio. Test and then do some more tests. Once you find it, then stick with it. Hope this helps,Richie
