New downtime concept?

Post by Cod »

At tonight shred I hit something strange. I wanted to hit Toe Barrage but I do something like Toe set Whirling ss Mirage w/o plant. It looks very cool. I have that on video. I hit it both sides. Please download this files and tell me what the hell is this. Maybe it's something new? 8O

Hmm, strange move #1 didn't look like enough of a first dex whirl to be considered anything but a toe barrage. Very nice btw...

BUT! Strange move 2 looked definatly like a whirl dex on the first dex for sure. That definatly looked different than a toe barrage. I'm not sure though, i'm gonna go try it :)

it one of the different ways to do a toe barrage, just like i have been told than barraging set could be either "stepping-quantum" or "whirling-stepping".

Thanks for your answers. I never hit downtime Toe Barrage so I'm very happy that I did it. I'll try to hit it cleaner and in less funky way ;).

To be able to get two downtime symposiums would be sick. I think they mean one symposium that had both dexes in it. Has anyone ever hit a trick with three symposiums?

Symposium Barrage have one symposium add in it. Like Superfly... To be two symposiums there should be plant between dexes.

Superfly has only one symposium add because it's something like Symposium Tapping + Symposium Butterfly w/o plant, and Symp Butter doesn't get an extra add. Symposium Toe Barrage should have two symposium add because it's something like Symposium Slapping + Symposium Mirage w/o plant and they both get an extra add. It's my opinion.

I'm 100% sure it's not a Toe Whirling Rake. I haven't catch the bag when it's in xbd position. I catched it later.
FlexThis wrote:There wasn't enough emphasis for it to be a rake, looked like a "the" toe barrage done whirling style. You completely missed the second dex in both clips, but props for effort on both sides.
Well, you have probably right. Move #2 looks "the". Move #1 looks cleaner but maybe it's also "the". It's first time I hit it, so it can be "the" :P. I'll try to hit it more than once and then show you new videos.

I'm preety sure it's not this way. This 'without plant' make big difrence. You don't need extra height. You need more coordination and speed. It is one action, one motion with two dexes. The 2nd is the continuation of the 1st.

I'm sure it has only one symposium add. Ecen 100% sure. But it doesn't matter. Fuck adds.

Ofcourse not :). I don't want to do any trick "the". I don't want to be a bad guy :P. It's preety good when someone shows you your mistakes. You can correct it then. Peace.
