Post by Jas »

Hey does anyone know their email address so i can contact them. I cant seem to find their email address, maybe coz the site's under construction or something but i dunno...
I wanna know coz I'm gonna be getting 2 mr sandbags which are going to be sent to Australia and was wondering if it passes customs? If anyone could answer this for me that would be great.

Cheers

Allan doesn't run Freedom Footbags. Daryl does.

No problem. Allan runs the website, so I can see why you might have been confused.

are the abshires as good as rich's. This might sound stupid b/c he makes both but are they like new footbags or old models?

It's the same thing. They're just cheaper because they're not custom made and you don't get to choose your colors or anything.

Haha good point

Linksys: Anything that says, blurryworld, rich, richie or abshire is stitched by richard abshire.
There is always a bigger trick.

Jas, if you order sandbags into the country you have to pay $7 dollars to get each bag treated then you have to wait longer to receive them. I got a letter from quarantine once when someone was sending me prototypes that were filled with sand.

Read here: http://www.ausfootbag.org/msgboard/viewtopic.php?t=194 for a bit of info on the quarantine.

Okay, I didn't feel like making a new thread for this question and it evens fits :D :

Is it normal on a freedom for two of the panels to be glued together?

Yes,when they are made Daryl makes it so that an area is fabric glued,if you want to you can pull it apart. Empty the sand and re-fill it with something else.

NOTE: Could a Mod possibly 'modify' the email addresses above?
I'm sure we all know about spam programs that check these sort of boards for email addresses to fill with crap.

Do both Allan and Daryl a favor and edit their email addresses.

But, talking about Freedom footbags... I reciently purchased a CSS5 T-shirt (I live in Australia), and have nothing but praise for Daryl and Freedom. They're very quick in sending out their gear.
Comment in the BCS blog if you feel the need to.

Only in one little spot where the sand is filled through. It's maybe 1"x.001"

Why would you want to do that?

If the sand starts to leak. My freedom got so many little holes and was draining sand like crazy.
