I don't exactly know why I'm posting this, but why doesn't Vasek post online anymore? He did for a while, but then stopped. He made a total of 3 posts I think. Does he not have a computer? I know he's busy, but sometimes I find myself wishing he was part of the conversations here. Anyone else feel similarly? I mean, imagine how much cooler the New Moves thread would be (longer, as well). Does anyone know why? Honza?

EDIT (8/6/04): This seems like the only post that is left of Vasek's, and it's only here because it didn't get deleted in the mass deletion. And that's only because it was on a poll thread. He's listed as having three posts, but only one remains I think.

To get back on track .... That is a good question ... Originally I thought that Vasek's english wasn't good enough for him to be able to actively participate in online discussion, however, after seeing him at Worlds, and seeing him seemingly have no problem interacting with English folks, I no longer think that's a big issue.

I would hazard a guess that it probably does come down to a lack of dependable internet available to Vasek. However, that's all speculation and I'm sure Honza can shed some true light.

Isn't he? He has even account on this forum. He is definately a parto of our World Footbag Community. We shouldn't split the community to modiefied.ca users non-modiefied.ca users. Everybody who play footbag is the part of the community.

And I think that I understand why Vasek isn't post on forums. I think that he will recive many, many, many questions: 'Vasik.. ho did you train your clippers', 'Vasik how long are your sessions'. I think that it could be annoying and sometimes tiring.

And I suppose that he would rather play footbag than post on forums. And beatboxing, and meet with his friends.

We have here another good players like Peter or Johnathan. I think that they can give many good tips for our game and have more to told about rules and theory.

Yeah, at first I just thought that he thought he was too cool for us. But after meeting him at worlds, that definately isn't it. Vasek's a way cool guy who's down with all footbaggers, even the intermediates (even though you might not want to shred with him because it's hard to pick up your jaw and shred at the same time).
Probably an availability issue (internet, computer).
I'm still looking to Webslinger for an answer, I know I appreciate his contributions to the forums.

I talked to him (or someone claiming to be Vaska) in the footbag chat room a couple of days ago. Did the Czech crew stay longer in Montreal like they said they were going to, or did they leave early?
