Osising Symposium Whirl??

Post by shredj »

Ok I have been trying to hit this for quite a while and when I try to explain it amongst my footbagging friends they get confused and really don't know what I'm talking about. So here it is
Osising Symposium Whirl. Basically, Osis>Symp Whirl all in one swing or motion. Im sorry If I dont make any sense its hard to explain and Im pretty out of it seeing is its 3:10 AM in the morning but..
What exactly is osising symp whirl? Think of it this way. youve got (symp) double switchover which is basically a (symp) miraging ss legover. well here this is osising (op) symp whirl. Is osising even a concept? Sorry if this sounds confusing :?
Can someone PLEASE clear this up :?: :?:
I made a short video of me airshredding the move to get an idea of what Im talking about...
http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/2957
Any help appreciated, thanks

Peace

EDIT* I think it may have something to do with an eclipse or eclipsing...?

I was one of the people talking to jim about this:

He sent me the clip of the airshred...looked like an "osis > symp whirl" to me. I suggested a "gyro Symp whirl" but he said no.

I then said "like an eclipse sort of? Osis into symp whirl all in midair?"

"no"

Sorry jim, i don't understand...:(

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Go to bed - sleep for at least 8 hours and come back and try again. I watched the video and it looked like you were hitting osis>symp whirl - as in a two move combo - without the bag.

Symple double switch over would be a symp illusion bailed to a ss legover.

I have never heard of a symp miraging ss legover - unless you are talking a wonton (symp quantum) ss legover.

I'm scared 8O

You're definately talking about Spyro (Gyro with plant) Symp Whirling made difrent way. And your first post made no sens. On vid you make Osis > Symp Whirl. And there isn't something like Osising. Osis is a move (Spinning op side Clipper). Spinning > op side dex without plant beetwen set and dex is Gyro. With plant it is Spyro. Do you understand?
And If you touch the bag beetween Osis motion and the dex wit your fot then it is end of first move (osis in this case) and start of the second (symp whirl).

Yeah

This is definitely just two different moves..... Osis > Symp whirl as everyoen else has said. A move ends on a contact, so the osis would be completed on first contact, and the symp whirl would be completed on the second contact.

Also, I know it's just air shred, but the symp whirl was/would have been majorly the if there was a bag there. I would suggest you devoting practice time to other more foundation things than symp whirl.

Peace.

how frustrating

(I also think it's two moves stringed quite dirty)

Thank you for replying and sorry for the confusion. So if it was 2 moves, with a plant it would be called Spyro symp whirl and without a plant it would be called Gyro symp whirl? If not what is it called without a plant because osis>symp whirl without that plant just doesn't make sense to me. :(

Gyro and spyro shouldn't have been brought up. If there was no osis motion, then that would have been understandable. However, as is, it's osis>symp whirl. I have to agree with Cole, though -- you shouldn't even be goofing around with this move, it's far out of your league. Learn the fundamentals first -- learn symposium whirls and whirls, dial your osises, etc.

Ok, thanks. I am currently skooling basics hard and I know I probably shouldn't be hitting it right now, I was just curious about the move

Dear Byrin,

For the longest time i thought janiwalker was a probing blender...boy was i wrong...

Barroqing dyno? NO NO, you're all wrong, Janiwalker is a swirling osising symposium swirling twirling montaging raking motion.

How the heck did janiwalker even come up?

After having some sleep, i must further state that the concept of osising did not make any more sense than it did last night.

The main reason i posted was to clear up what a janiwalker was. You stupid idiots...

Shredj

what you did on video was a clipper>osis>symp whirl.

Thats it, you know it has to be two moves linked because the bag contacts your foot twice, once after you stall the osis, and once after you perform the symp whirl dex. Two contacts =2 moves.
