I had another pair of lavers but I gave them to my cousin hoping he would start playing footbag. Yes, I know I have too many footbag shoes but my feet keep growing 8O :? . Right now Im at size 15. (Im 6'2)
The black shoes are New Balance CT520's that I just got and on the far right is a pair of Adidas Nastase's.

I'm still waiting for Tom to post his... although I've seen them in person, they're still sick shoes. The extra mods he created are so clever.

Yeah, Moshers shoes ARE NUTS. I got to shred with him today before I rolled my ankle. Heres a few pics of my lavers after I mod'd them up and washed em.

Size 13 ;
- Leather (although 98% of the leather was removed - Even under the Laver Heel Logo)
- Navy/White

Mods;
- All Leather Removed
- Bottom Eyelets Removed
- Plastic Spacers (Blue Rods)
- Sole Holes (10/Laver)
- Relacing (Custom - New Laces)

3 things i have to say about them shoes, 1 HAHA ur a stoner i can tell, you do the same thing i do burn off the little hairs in the toe boxs. i can see the burns lol :) and that spacer THATS SMART im doing that to mine, think im gonna use a pen tube or something, and whats the point in drilling holes in the sides of the soles? dose this give more support or something, if so im doing it. About tom, what kinda things did he do to his shoes? get him to post im really curice to see what he did, i want to mod mine up really good.

PS.... to night ill take a pic of my shoes.. there red an white an there starting to turn a shade of black in the toe box an the insides, i must be throwing sparks when i kick :wink:

I havent burned anything on my shoes, and I don't consider myself a stoner TYVFM... where the hell did that come from?

To answer your question, no, the holes provide cushion, not support.

i hear about people rolling ankles alot with the holes drilled. the sole squishes down on the outside and snap, there goes your ankle.

These are my Slovenian Lavers from when I started playing, like, 4-5 years ago. I have Spenco sport insoles. After Worlds 2000 (Or 1999?) Joel asked Scott Davidson if he would stop by Winnipeg on his way home to Chicago and he did. We got to jam with him and Karl Bohn asked him to sign his shoes. Ever since then I wanted to get signatures on my shoes. So at Colorado Shred Symposium 4 I asked my roommates (and Eric Reile who signed first) Matt Cross, Sam Colclough and Chris Pinkus to sign. I would have got Tim Werner and Dan Klokow, too, but they'd left already. I would have got even more, but I decided to get signatures, I think, on the night when everyone was leaving. Then I got more signatures at Shred Zero and more at Hackrifice. And recently I have been cutting up old shoes at the bowling alley when there's nothing else to do and I took some nice neon laces (we have "glow bowling" which is bowling where the only light is black lights, disco balls, etc and everything is neon so it glows). I thought the pink laces were so rad and it was the only pair I found. I have green and orange, too, I might switch up with.

Mine are almost 2 years old. Never been washed, and worn almost everywhere.
