Just an update, I haven't had much time to shred lately. See, I agreed to walk this dog for a week ($20 a day, two times a day). So, since I don't have weels, and nobody in my family wants to take me I have been left with two options. One, take a bus or two, ride my bike. Since, Anchorage bus lines sucked, I chose the bike. It's a pretty nice ride, I stay on a bike trail the whole way. The dog is 7 miles away (one way). So, in 7 days I am going to ride my bike 196 miles in seven days. So, I just exhausted!
While, I was taking the dog for a walk, I was waiting for Stucky (the dog) to complete his sniff. So, I took out my bag and just did a couple of toe stalls. So, this little kid, about 7 ish, came up and he said, "Wow, thats awesome! You must be the best" I just said thanks and told him about footbag. He was like, " That sounds stupid!" This was after he told me I was the best (huge ego boast). Belive me, I am not above arguing with a seven year old.
Me: Why is it stupid?
Kid: You kick a little bag with your feet! It looks stupid!
Me: You do that in soccer!
Kid: Soccer you use a bigger ball! Hacky sack just a rip off of Soccer! It looks stupid!
Me: You just said you thought it was awesome!
Than his parents called him to go home. In hinds sight I should said, "whatever." But, hey I was bored. I guess I should have told him more about the sport but I don't think that would have changed his mind.
For some reason, a ripwalk is really interesting me. I tried it once to horrible results! Whatever, I had fun trying it. They more complected the trick the more it seems to interests me for some reason.
Tricks I want to hit before the end of the year:
Butterfly
Mirage
Ripwalk (Hopfully!)
Illusion
Pick up
Hop over
Whirl
Smear
DATW
???
That's just on top of my head, hopefully, I will be able to do this a more. I feel like it differently in my reach. I feel once the Legover comes, others will follow. I think It's totally possible to hit a ripwalk. Or any of those tricks. I just going to keep working at it!
