leaking

Post by Pitbull »

I have just completed my fourth 32 panel footbag, and like the rest the seed beads that I put in it started to fall out. They were coming out from between the pents. Does anyone have any advice on what I should have done to prevent this from happening? Your replies will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the tips, but what do you mean by pull your gathers more?

The stitch that connects the pentagon to the hexagon. After you finish that side, pull the thread tighter so the fabric bunches up more. Find the right amount of pull and your bag should feel and perform better, as well as look better. Hope this helps,Richie

I just finnished my 5th bag. I really had high hopes for this bag, but from like 3 or 4 places it was leaking. I did everything you told me to do Richie, or atleast I think. I dont know maybe I just suck at making bags. :(

Dude. Think about it. It's your fifth bag! It took me at least 5-10 bags to make one that doesn't leak. Then about 50 more to make a decent, shreddable one. Then you can start perfecting them...

Don't be so hard on yourself, man!!

I completed my 6th bag. There is still a little bit of leaking but less than the 5th bag.
