Folkbag

Post by cabble »

Here's another Lithuanian video with good Lithuanian folk music and Lithuanian-style footbag session.

The Shreder's are: cabble(long hair), cikaone(red clothes), soulx( white t-shirt, shorts and black socks)

Our triology: "Lord of the footbag"

Those were rad videos. I particularly liked the close-up of the spit on session2. And the music is epic. Plus you guys have really cool names.
Fun stuff.

One of the funnest videos I've seen, makes me want to get outside and kick with my friends, just like in highschool, at lunch and after school...until we weren't aloud to kick , because my freedom footbag landed on a car a couple times...wow, wait, *memories* The administrators there were against anything i did, but still, Great video, fun and creative. Keep'em coming.

Off topic (but it is the main part of our videos :))
I’ve decided to translate dialogue which is in black and white, but first a short srtory of this reportage. It was filmed 25 years ago when Lithuania was a part of SSSR. The driver of the tractor (his name is Juozas) was driving drunk and was caught by the police. After 25 years this video was put into the Internet by the creators of one broadcast about cars. This video spreaded over all Lithuania and became classics.

First video, I part:
Reporter (right side): You have been drinking during the labour hours, who you have been drinking with?
Juozas – tractor driver: I didn’t drink anything, at work I drunk a little...
II part:
J: ...and I was driving home.. I wanted to get some manure, buuut I didn’t get it and I was going home...
III part:
J: ...I was going home and I had to pull over... and I stopped.. that’s all..

Second video, I part:
R: So Juozas how much have you consumed?
J: I drunk... I drunk... so... two glasses.. drunk...
II part:
R: Vodka or wine?
J: ..and vod.. some wine.. two small glasses and and a very small glass of vodka.. that’s all..
III part:
R: But you knew that you’ll have to drive tractor and it is forbidden to..
J: I knew, I knew, I knew..
IV part:
R: Who you have been drinking with, maybe you remember these friends?
J: With frien... you know I don’t know them...

No comments for the third part (I’ll kill you, cabble  )

Sorry for my English, but I hope this translation will help you to understand the main idea .

Respect!
