REQ: CALL for Worlds VIDEOS

Post by Flipsider »

If you are interested in contributing to the official Worlds galleries, please drop me an email at info @ flipsider.com . I am accepting circle footage AND competition highlights. My firewire connections are all shot, so I can't capture footage.

Thanks!

I think ellis is asking for videos because HE is making the foobag.org 04 video section this year, as he has graciuosly done in the past. So if no one gives him finals footage footbag.org may not have it.

Yes. Thank you for clearing that up. *I* made the worlds2004 website, and *I* am putting together the media galleries, BUT my camera and DV deck cannot connect through firewire to capture clips, WHICH MEANS I need contribution from "players like you".

To reiterate, I AM ACCEPTING SHRED VIDEOS FROM WORLDS IN ADDITION TO COMPETITION. Like the "Felix vs. Ales" video is a perfect example of what I'd like to put in the gallery. It's great that people can come to this forum and find sort-of secret videos, but it would be better to make them more public and make the worlds galleries a bit more community-owned-and-operated, since this sport is truly defined by its players.

Thanks.

Andrew tells me that Derek filmed every single routine, so I may have footage of that soon. Don't hold your breath, though >___<

Sorry if this is a double post, but I did a quick search and didn't see that anyone has mentioned this yet...
Dylan Fry's finals routine is on Allan's site http://www.vicfootbag.com

It was awesome! I love his style...the B.C kickers have a distinct styley flow about them, don't they?

Wow!! That's awesome - thanks Jane and Allan or whoever is responsible for putting that up! His routine is really god and only 2 drops I think. Wow if that's 9th place the finals must have been amazing!! :D

www.planetfootbag.com now has both Vasek and Honza's finals routines up, as well as their doubles routine (all three of which rocked my socks).

There doubles performance was so amazing!! The bag never hit the ground (but they gave a drop on the PS whirl). And Vasek ended with a flip food processor.

Off topic, but something I've been wondering about forever.

Honza, what's the strap on your knee? Is it some kind of brace? When/why did you start wearing it? I don't think that I've ever seen footage of you without it. Do you wear it when you're not shredding as well?

It is some kind of painkiller, actually I can't almost play without it because sometimes I have quite big pain in my knee.
