Its a common misconception that corpsegrinder was proposed for toe stall, so I was surprised to find this posting on the mailing list. (Thats why I had to ask the question)

I believe Joey Shaeffer (did I spell that correctly) came up with the idea for "symposium" moves, but Rippin named it (apparently, after scanning a dictionary at 3:00 AM).

The first symposium move was Symp Whirl (Kenny Shultz) ( followed by Symp Mirage, followed by Symp. Whirling Swirl )

sorry ken, i hadn't known that this was already posted as a question, but Kaos is right--Joey Schaffer invented the symposium concept.
Rippin was the first to hit it, and I"m pretty sure the first symp. trick was symp. mirage.
Either way the answer is Joey Schaffer, so now Kaos, ask away.

OK, according to Rippin' Rick Reese, he and Kenny Shultz invented torque together and Kenny named it.

One of the 'old' players thought that he invent move which we are calling Shaft. He wasn't right because, he didn't invent this move.

Question: Who is that player, and what name did he propose to his move.

Bonus: What is the alternate name for move, which is named with the name he proposed to Shaft.

A: The Enlightener, Scott Davidson. He named Symposium Down Double Down - "Super Duper Fly".

Bonus: Superduperfly is a Spinning Symposium Double Down, also called Poisonous Toad.

Time to go way back...

At the 1984 World Championships, there was only two people doing trick combo's (consecutive ATWs) (the rest had tricks mixed with kicks). Kenny Shultz was one, name the other?

Bonus: Two moves (atleast) invented by Kenny Shultz came from Flying Disc, name any one of the two.
