wierd hip pain

I was playing today and whenever I would kick the bag my hip would feel like it was being stung by a bee. It sorta hurt when I would play too. The pain isn't right on my hip, (starting from the side of my leg) its about 2 inches below my waistline and about an inch toward my butt. Does anyone know what it might be?

Also, a few hours later, I'm sitting here and the pain comes back. Almost like every 2 mins. Sometimes it just gets so painful for that short amount of time that I can feel it. I took some advil, if that helps.

you pulled something i bet, hope you have a girl friend who can give a mean massage, thats what i have my girl do any time im feeling pain thats bee stinging pain, usaly always helps too.

I don't think I pulled something. It's just a wierd stinging in my hip.

well, I don't know what you mean pop. But it feels like a needle is being pushed into my hip, then a second later its gone.

I had a terrible pain in my right hip in early 2004. I was caused by an inflammation of my hip joint. I went to see a doctor an she prescribed me a antiphlogistic. She also told me to stretch a lot! Thank god all that help and the pain is totally gone. So I suggest you go and see an doctor too, so you'll be back in hacking soon!

Stinging pain sounds like a pinched nerve.

Stretch it out and back to where it is supposed to be!

I had something like that, just rested for awhile and it went away.
