This video is awesome. I watch it often, especially when I kick by myself. When I need a breather, I just press play and watch some crazy strings.

well this video is pretty freakin awesome! i finally got my copy today, along with true playaz, fo shizza and BOP
its not as flashy and highly edited as Sick03, but the level of shred is probably rated as higher i think. there are some ridiculously hard and impressive looking drills, massive hard and long combos and some funky music... also some cool and funny flashbacks from the old Czech crew days when ales etc were only new to the sport
dvd played the first 1 hour without incident, then skipped like a bitch so i had to watch the last few minutes on my computer

so maybe not as visually impressive as sick03, but the image quality is excellent, the shred is off the hook, lots of hard moves and drills, cool music and some older stuff from worlds 02 and things like that. excellent excellent video!

Yeah this is the most incredible footbag video I've seen!!!!

This is so intense that my eyes started bleeding* - it's incredible - not just Vasek, but all the players - Ryan, Peter, Yacine, Honza, Ales, Sunil, DEXTER!! and everybody else in it. Some awesome stuff gets hit! Everyone should buy it now!! I think the Czechs are still the number one footbag nation - Finland has good depth but I haven't seen anything from Finland that rivals some of the stuff in this vid. There is a run at the end of the 7 add trick section that is like woah! and more to the point, that run doesn't amazingly stand out in the video at all because it's all like that!

Get this now!!

*may not actually have happened

Hello Shredders,

I've been hesitating to post partly because
I wanted to make sure that the DVD's
I sent out with my first batch of orders
worked well. Clearly (from previous
posts), at least a few DVDs worked just fine.

So, here’s the deal with the NTSC format DVD
compatibility. It plays on all computers,
PS2s, and NEW DVD players without any
glitches, and clear sound. It does not
work on some older DVD players. I personally
own a 3+ year old player which has crystal
clear image quality, but the sound "pops"
on the menu, and songs with high treble.

The PAL version is straight from the Czech
republic and does play in my DVD player,
I'll post later this evening and let you know
if it makes it all the way through (first 15 mins
are okay ;) ). Darn... it just stopped playing
at 20 mins or so... the soundtrack is still going,
but, sigh. It stops right on Vasek, um er...
well playing footbag :). Now it's playing again...
ugh: 80+% unwatchable on my old DVD player.

Anyhow the video is seriously INSANE when
it plays. The "drills" section is outright ridiculous,
and I'd barely even imagined many of the
"drill" combos prior to watching them being
hit flawlessly.

You may want to have an extra pair of underwear
handy (in case you accidentally soil them), and
a barf bucket (as it could overload your system)
if you are planning to watch this DVD ;).

Anyhow, I went through a lot of trouble getting the
best quality professional DVD copies I could get,
and for the most part, they do play :).

Don't forget that if you buy The Champion's
League at http://www.freedomfootbags.com
you will earn $2.50 in Freedom Bucks toward
your next purchase :). Also, you help
support the CFA http://www.footbag.ca
and the IFPA http://www.footbag.org
by buying this DVD.

I only have a few NTSC DVD’s in stock
Right now, but I have finally received enough
“Accounts receivable” that I can pay for
the remainder of my original order, and
will have *plenty* of copies available by
midweek.

Peace.

Curious:

Do shred video producers/sellers every actually get the songs licensed that they use in the videos?

ive been wondering that very same thing, Steven. I think Unanim Works got it right with SICK03 this year because they used all music from their friends i think, like Monsiuer Morphee. id be more concerned about stuff like Budas Best, and especially Champions League, because there are some really big name artists on there (Jay-Z, Defari, Bloodhound Gang etc)
Im not sure if it would prove a problem now, but if footbag videos got into mainstream sales, would we see some legal problems arising? Dexter getting sued because he sold media using a certain artists tracks without permission, and made a profit on it?
that could be an important issue in the future.

yeah you're spot on Ian. Pierrot and Fred decided to use original tracks from different friends they have that make music. So they're pretty legit concerning music on Sick03. Buda's Best was a bit more border-line is it had some original tracks but also some remixes from famous artists. I don't think the volume of DVDs sold warrants any mass suing from the Recording Industry Artists Asociation but still they decided to play safe (and legal) with their last vid.
