Yeah I agree with Max - a drill is something you do over and over. I don't think it needs to be repeated on the other side to be a drill, but I think these days being bothsided is a big issue and most people would want to equally drill both sides rather than only one side.

I tend not to do drills very often - instead I'll drill a particular concept - for example dlos - where I'll hit a run with as many different moves ending with a dlo as I can think of until I drop. Usually when I do this I'll start out with easy ones and work my way up to the harder moves - but I'll also keep hitting the easy ones so I'll hit a run like toe dlo>butterfly>dlo>dimwalk>dlo>parkwalk>dlo>dlo>butterfly>pdx dlo>dlo>butterfly>dlo>smog>smog>butterfly>haze>pixie ss dlo>butterfly>fog>smear>tapping dlo etc.

I'm just making up that run on the spot - I probably haven't ever hit that exact combo in my life - but I've hit lots of runs like that where I'm just drilling the same concept over and over.

A drill that I've been starting my sessions with is mirage > butterfly > osis > far legover > rpt. It seems to cover a bunch of the basics pretty well.

Nice james!

I thought this drill was cool - it's in my new vid:

assassin>atomsmasher repeat. I'd like to hit some other similar drills but I need to work on my flip pixie ducking more.

Nice topic :)

Some drills I recomend for every freestyler that I try to go through for a while every sesion:

Mirage>legover>repeat (you can never do too much mirage>legover)
Illusion>pickup>repeat (as above)
Clipper>pdx mirage>repeat (2 of the most important moves in footbag)
Clipper>pdx illusion>repeat (replace clipper with butterfly if you like butterfly)
Drifter>DLO>repeat (also 2 very important concepts in footbag)
Spinning clipper>ducking clipper>repeat (2 of the 4 fundamental non-dexing moves)
Osis>diving clipper>repeat (the other 2 fundementalk non-dexing moves)

Some more set specific drills:
Fairy clipper>blur>repeat (replace fairy with pixie and clipper with butterfly if you like those concepts better)
Fear>fairy ss mirage>repeat (fundamental fairy drill)
Stepping ss clip>stepping op clip>repeat (replace with sidewalk>ripwalk if you like butterfly)

Drill I created when working on osis, fairy and stepping:
Fairy clipper>osis>stepping far legover>repeat

These drills are aimed at all the basics of footbag as well as fairy and stepping sets.
I intend to make similar drills for eggbeater. torque, swirl and blender as I get better at them, also atomic sets.

Chain Refraction- ss refraction > refraction {repeat}

Pivot- gyro pickup > atomic clipper {repeat}

gyrosis > inspinning clipper {repeat}
far reverse whirl > reverse whirl {repeat}
pdx illusion > ss grifter {repeat}

bubba>drifter>pdx illusion>toe whirl>pdx illusion>toe whirl>bubba>drifter

Fun stuff!
Everything is drills
