Footbag Acronyms

Post by millenniumtree »

Thanks to me, you can now look up a couple more acronyms on acronymfinder.com!

IFPA - International Footbag Players' Association
BSOS - Both Sides, One String.

If you can think of any other acronyms used in footbag, please share!
I visit acronymfinder all the time, and find it very useful.

You can still add DOD... a lot of acronyms on that site are repeated. Even the word acronym has a few pages of acronyms. Good ideas though so far guys.

Technically, alot of the supposed acronyms posted, are not acronyms at all.

acronym - a pronounceable word formed from the initial letters of a multi-word name. This means that all acronyms are also an abbreviation, but not all abbreviations are acronyms.

ex: IFPA is an abbreviation, whilst BAP is an acronym.

edited to make the definition a bit cleared

Well I live in GA, so imagine an army of rednecks sayin "What's sooof" with a thick accent. It's funny at first but after a few years it just gets annoying.

Has anyone put together a definitive footbag acronym dictionary? I was trying to lookup what "PS" meant. This is kind of chunky. I have to do a lot of searches. I wanted to know if there was an acronym list. Even after reading the definition for BSOS here I'm not quite sure what it means. Li'l help pls.
