The Shoe?

Post by 420FootBager »

OK... It's back to school time and I'm gettin a new pair of shoes.

My question is what should I get? Obveosly there are many alternatives to Lavars now.

please take in mind that these will be my everyday use shoes also....

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNS!

I hear that Gravis Dunbars are good for kick, and they look real nice too. You could always get one of those crazy styled laver types...

I wanna get some plaid lavers. LOL

Sorry for me being a lame toad again. Do you want the shoe for like serious freestyle or like just kicking around school? If just for around at school, then grab some Dunbars. The black ones should work and they look slick. I would maybe look for a seperate pair of Lavers maybe on ebay. They have some alright prices on there, so 2 shoe should be affordable.

My one gripe about Gravis Dunbars are the soles of the shoes. They are nice and grippy, but they die real fast compared to most other shoes. They do make for a nice casual kicking every day shoe though. Right now I'm using These Adidas for my casual shoes/ casual kicking. They are heavier without much feel, but they give great support, great cushion, and they inside stall without any problem. The toes are managable, especially for casual shred.

Edit : Also Puma Frankencleids are kicker friendly. A good shoe to walk around in casually and a decent pair of shred shoes. They are uber comfortable, really light, but the stalling surfaces aren't prime, although they do get the job done with decent surface area.

Again - What's wrong with Lavers?

I, for one, wear them every day, wherever I go. They're comfortable,
they're light, and I can shred off wherever I am.

I don't like the look of lavers to be honest they just don't fit my style....

What about the NB520's I read they were good

Well Red Lavers are what I would suggest normally, but I would also suggest the awsome puma Californias, not very good for freestyle mind you, but they come in some awsome colors, I have orange, green, and white... and another paire black, green, and yellow, there awsome... but again not for freestyle...

I just got my 520's today. Great looking shoe, and verry comfortable. I haven't had a chance to shred in them yet... but I'm sure they can't be bad.

Just get lavers, theyre nice and strong, as long as u dont keep dragging ur foot on the ground coz the insoles can where out a lil faster compared to others. Just take care of it and it will take care of u.
