Yeah, I really can't compare Ben Stiller's style of comedy to Adam Sandler's. Have you seen 50 First Dates? Did you laugh? No? Hmmm...FlexThis wrote:To retort some other disagreements:
Ben Stiller is an idiot, and if I want to watch and idiot and actually laugh I'll take Adam Sandler, David Spade, and the late Chris Farley thank you very much.
Though, on second thought, I must say that some of Adam's earlier flicks, like Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and whatnot, I laughed. They were good. However, as of late, it seems like anything with him can be described as "Adam Sandler in a hilarious comedy with Rob Schneider in a supporting role." Nothing really stands out.
I've seen Zoolander a good 20 times probably, and the writing still makes me laugh.
Forsooth, a truism indeed!FlexThis wrote:Dogma rocked and you would have to have some religious background or knowledge to get the jokes or understand the premise. Jay especially kicked ass managing to cuss at every opportunity as is his way. I could have done with less of the cussing, but a good flick.
