Broken/Fractured ankle! GOD IM PISSED

OK well my soccer team played tonight, and we were down 2-1 with 10 minutes left

i had a wide open shot, and a kid came from right in front of me and i didnt know, and right as a struck the ball, his foot kicked my right ankle.

i went down with a scream and with much pain, and i couldnt walk off the field

I still cant walk, and im really pissed that i wont be able to play footbag for a while.

nothing is swollen, but it really really hurts, im probably going to see a doctor soon, but i really hope its nothing serious. this is pissing me off.

btw, we tied it up with 5 minutes left,

and then with 27 seconds left, WE SCORED AND WON THE GAME!!!!

but my plans of shredding after the game were spoiled by this shitty injury

ok nothing is swelled, so does anyone know what my injury is, can it just be a "bone bruise"?

I could be. Since it's not swelling, I don't think anything broken. But I am not a docter. Or it could just he a bruise in the worng spot or something. So it hurts when ya move ya ankel. I would go see a docter.

Damn that sucks!! But congrats on winning the game!

If it isn't swollen it's probably not to badly injured - as you said he kicked you so most likely it's bruised I guess... But I'm not a doctor so the best thing to do is probably to go see one and see what they say.

Also ice it lots - and stay off it until it's completely better!!

I'll second that staying off of it. Since it didn't swell, it's probably brusied. By the sound of it, it is going to be sore for a damned long while.

Does it hurt when you move it period, or just in a certain way? Also, what sort of pain is it (shooting, throbbing, etc.).

Any way you put it, I'd suggest going to see a doctor. He will tell you if there is anything beyond a bruise. There's no need to further screw up your ankle if there is something more serious with it. Just be careful for the next little while.

Yeah, stop playing for a while and see a doctor about it. Just to
make sure - I wouldn't risk anything regarding my feet..

and i have really good news!

it is nothing serious

its just a "bone bruise"

so it will be ok in a week and im jumping with happiness. im so glad i can play again in a week or 2

and steve youll get to my level in no time
