Post by innersmile »

Hey,
Do any of you guys n gals out there know anything about BMXes? I am thinking of getting one but I don't know which one to go for. I have heard that Mongoose are a good brand but I couldn't find any reviews on amazon.

Any suggestions will help.

no, mongoose sucks, their like, stor brands, if you want a nice bike look to brands like kink, little devil, go to actual bmx sites, ones with pros like chris doyle, or mike scezny, they have bikes that are real nice, but honestly you should stick to footbag.

I used to ride alot. Stay away from mongoose. It's a very crapp Kmart brand. I'd check out http://www.danscomp.com or http://www.albes.com . They are two good sites. PM me if you want to know anything, I'm pretty knowlegible (sp?) about BMX... I could probably help you out.

hey there, this is a bit late in posting but aw well.
Never get mongoose or free agents, shitest bikes ever. If uve got good mechanical skills, i suggest in building ur own awesome bike. if not, and u want a whole bike, go for hoffmans, redline, specialized, and some others. Most pro riders build there bikes from scratch using the best frames possible. Companies that focus on frames are, Standard, 2-hip, wethepeople etc.
Ive got a trek tr40, i dont think neones sponsored by them nemore... :( But its a mad bike.
