I didnt really try and hit Paradox Torque that much today. I'll give it another shot tomorrow. Today I did some filming and I almost broke my ankle when i tried to hit atom smasher on camera. It looks pretty wack.
My atomic set is coming along finely, i've hit 2 new atomic moves in the past 2 days (legbeater and atom smasher).

My leg hurts when i do symposium. It hurts at the very side of the shin, up where the calf meets it. I think im gonna rest it for a day or two then see how it feels.

I also need advice on my whirls. Im gonna try make a video on my whirls and see if anyone can find out if im doing anything wrong.
I thought i had hit symposium whirl today until i saw the video :(

Anways todays highlights are:
Legbeater
Atom Smasher (with shoes on)
Swirl
Double over Down

I schooled osis quite a bit today. And i hit some 5 contact guiltless runs, wooo!!
I also started to hit stepping moves out of osis (idea came from Ian). I hit ripwalk out of osis which was pretty hard. Heres some stuff that i hit:

butterfly > osis > stepping op legover > butterfly > osis
pixie legover > butterfly > paradox mirage > toe set osis > stepping op legover

I think i hit a few more short runs but i cant remember what they were.

Today was the last day of the school holidays. The weather was cool, and i had a nice shred. I schooled my flipside Ripwalk and i had flipside sidewalk come off my foot so many times.
Today I hit flux :D. Im pretty happy with that because i used my flipside atomic set to dex the bag so i could finish with a strong osis.

Anyways, good luck to everyone competiting at worlds!

Yesterday i was playing footbag at school with long pants and dress shoes. It was extremely hard but i got a few year 12's watching me in amazement which was pretty cool.
So today I wore my lavers to school, i had a few year 12's and my brother watching me. They thought it was really awesome and gave me props. I didnt really hit much moves infront of them, but i tried for some crowed pleases like: neck stall, toilet stall, etc. I also hit a few 4's.

Well before dinner tonight i had an awesome shred. It was in my garage and i had heaps of room to play in, because my brother cleaned it out. I started out having a few lower back pains but then i stretched it out a bit and i was fine.
I worked on my flipside a bit and i realised that it isnt so hard if you just concentrate.

Here are tonights highlights:

Stepping Mirage
BS Blur (2nd 5 add)
Motion (3rd 5 add)
Ducking Paradox Mirage
Flipside PS Mirage
Flipside Blur
Flipside Sidewalk
Flipside Ducking Butterfly
Flipside Legbeater
Flipside Pixie Osis

I really wanted to play longer but dinner was ready. I had Pixie Torque roll off my foot several times and i think i could've hit Assassin because i was getting close.

This blog will also be about yesterday.
Yesterday I kicked to good music. My brother connected up the old computer in the garage and it had mp3's on it. I play a lot better to music. I have only been playing to the radio lately.
Anyways I hit these nice combos: Smear > Butterfly > Whirl > DLO > Butterfly > Far Butterfly > Osis(drop)
and
Ducking Butterfly > DLO > Ducking Butterfly

I also hit Assassin. I hit it on camera but then i accidentally deleted it so i hit it again on camera first try.

I really need to clean up my whirls. They are 'the'. I will take videos of them and get peoples advice on them.

Today I started to spin. I practised spinning both directions. I ended up hitting Merkon (one side) and Spinning Butterfly (both sides). I really enjoy spinning.

Today was my first shred in a week. It was bad. I could barely hit Dimwalk. I have lost my pixie set and my flipside osis.

Hi everyone. In September, 2004 i started to lose interest in footbagging. I had no one to shred with for 1000's of km's and my bag started ripping and i didnt have much money to get a new one. I also started suffering from shin splints.

Today I was wearing my lavers and i went to a video shop. I got hold of a set of keys and ripwalked them. To my suprise i started to gain interest again. So I guess im gonna say im back.

Thanks Jesse Malouf and Anssi for encouraging me again.

I've been drilling some basics for a a couple of days now.
I've improved on Paradon a whole lot since i've gotten back into footbag. I am quite happy with my performace.

I have stopped using my J-Bag. It has about 4 tiny holes next to each other in one of the panels and it leaks little beads sometimes. I'm afraid if i kick with it much longer a big hole will appear. But the bag is bloody good, I highly recommend it. Thankyou Trevor!

I'm using my Hermey bag (Wallace, which i won from a modified bag naming competition) at present time. It is doing me well. I didnt break it in very well and some of the panels are pilled.

It was very hot today. 41ºC!!!!! I was sweating so much after my shred today. Things went pretty well. I've gotten use to my hermey bag and i hit the following:

Dimwalk > Pdx Mirage (rpt)
Ripwalk > Pdx Mirage > Dimwalk
Schmoe (one side)

and this:

PLO > Smear > Butterfly > Stepping ss clipper > Ripwalk > Pdx Mirage > Butterfly > Osis > Stepping far legover(drop) (on camera)

I didnt think i'd be able to hit that. I knew what i was trying to hit up until the Pdx Mirage, so after that I just threw in a butterfly and tried the first thing that came into my head afterwards.

Thanks Hagesy.

Today I had a light session. Just schooled a bit of stuff.

Towards the end of the session i hit a 'the' sailing ss mirage.

Really? I was told it was 'the', because my foot went over the bag on the pixie.

Hey Anssi, just out of interest, how do you describe this move as clean? Cos i think its pretty 'the' , wanted to know how you see it.

The pixie is there, altought it is a bit thin - so it's clean.
It could be a lot deeper, but the dex IS THERE so I see that it's clean.
