Verena Lenneis has been travelling through Europe for a few weeks, and last week she came through Copenhagen for a couple of days. So we met up and had a bit of a shred...
I borrowed a video camera at my school and managed to put together a video.. The video is pretty long (almost 8 mins.).
I'm working on getting it compressed to a better quality, but this will not be available untill next week...

amazing! I had seen Verena at worlds and was so impressed, she can hit some really awesome combos and has so much potential even though she is already 2nd in the world for women's freestyle! Lise, wow! This is the first time I have ever seen footage of you and I am sooooo impressed! You have such smooth style, I think you have the nicest looking sets out of any woman freestyler. Great video, and I hope to kick with you guys next year if I come to Worlds.

Great video, I'm so glad I met Verena at Worlds, she is going to be one of the best, well, she already is , you know what I mean. Does anybody know how long she has been playing ?

Also, Lise, your shred too is incredible for the female level of shred. Lotsa style and control, and that's what counts in freestyle. Who else do you shred with regularly Lise ? It's too bad you don't have Verena to train with, you 2 would be unstoppable !

MAD PROPS!!! That was awesome! Verena, it looks like you've already improved some since World's footage that I saw -- nice swirl out of dragon, fairy butterfly midstring, hella conseq swirls switching directions...and and...

LISE!...you're off the hook! I have to say that out of all the women shredders right now, I like your style the best. We've gotta kick together!! Tons of variety, spinning/gyro both directions, fat vortex lots lots more and TONS of style! smooth.

Thank you everybody for all the kind words.. Thank you. I'm glad you liked the video. I really enjoyed making it too, as this is the first time I really got to see some footage of myself. And Verena too, had only seen little footage of herself. So I'm glad we got this opportunity, and I feel there is a lot to learn from it...
Anyway, to answer some questions:

Lise - I totally agree with Jane, you have such smooth style and control.

Verena - Your style will smooth out a lot if you don't plant on butterflies and paradox mirages. Slow down, too! Aside from that, huge strings and tricks!

Mad props to both of you. It's great to see more women pushing the footbag envelope. Lise, your spins look great, It's so refreshing to see a woman who spins frequently and on both sides. I can't wait to see what comes out next from both Verena and Lise.

As for an encoding tip, try and up the KB/sec on the Data rate. (1,000 KB/sec is real nice, but even 700 would make it look good)

I downloaded this when it was first posted and then I forgot to reply.

The thing that impressed me the most, and something I had trouble putting my finger on until Chan commented on it in some other thread, was that these two girls do more 'boy' tricks. In the sense that there are some more traditional girl tricks that it seems are common choices by alot of the ladies. Verena and Lise however use huge variety with awesome confidence.

You guys are definately the next wave.

finally got to see this video, and im pretty blown away right now. i love the style that both of you play with, it seems to have advanced alot from the female styles ive seen on Budas Best etc. Before i used to think that there was a definite difference in the ways women executed various moves (not bad in anyway, just noticeably different), but you guys are changing that for sure which i think is excellent.
i love Verenas swirls, so controlled and consistent, im jealous of your ankles too

have you tried Ripstein?
and Lise i love your smooth style and bothsidedness! its incredible, and your variety of moves too, awesome stuff

thankyou heaps for this video, we need more womens footage for sure! this is the kind of stuff that would get other girls to play i hope
