Modified member shred video (no video)

Isn't 4 minutes of footage too much from everyone? I mean that soon there is video of 400 minutes.
1-2 minutes is enough. 2,5 should be maximum.

Yeah if you don't end up getting a IFPA membership by the time you finish it probably won't be too big of a deal as I'm sure there are plenty of people who would offer you some webspace in order to post this video.

Forget I said 4 miuntes. Some people might have bigger segments just beacuse they have more footage.

Take Chan's video. It's only 15 seconds long! So, obliovusly he not going to have as much time as somebody else.

I do agree with you Anssi, there should be a time limit for people making a video just for this. I think 1-2 miuntes is perfect, what does everybody els think? But like with Fu Xi whos video is around 5 that of course is going to be slimed down.

I think Chan's video length is the best. It should just be like one move or combo from everybody, or else the video will take way too long. If you have like a minute for everyone, the video is going to be way too long and probably get pretty boring. 10-30 seconds per person would be ideal I would think.

Just remember, the longer the video, generally, the larger the size of the video. If you make a 10 minute video, and its 100 megabytes, all the people with dialup will complain.

But, it would be really hard to keep the video short. Do your best

Let's figure the outline of the video, and set some rules up. As for the poll right now, I'd like it to be atleast 5+ minutes, there are a lot of members to put into one video. It'd be pretty hard to make it under that if you get lots of replies to put into the modified video.

my input :
- Have everyone's section about 30-45 seconds long
- Put in shred and anything that shows your personality within those seconds.
- PM Links of shred to Melissa to keep posts somewhat uncluttered.
- Keep videos somewhat raw so Melissa can have her own style of editing throughout the whole video.
- Send videos of what you'd like in, 1-2 minutes long so editing what she wants in the modified video is farely easy. Don't send long videos so she has to pick and choose from 50 different strings.
- Make 2 videos, one larger size for faster connections, one smaller size for dial-up connections. That makes it convenient for everyone.

I am the one with the black shorts and the red Lavers. The other person in the film is Conrad Rustad, who also posts on this forum but not too often.

And like I said before - I'll be joining IFPA soon so I will be able to get you better, more recent footage of myself. The only thing that may be a problem is that it will be in .avi format. If need be I can ask Conrad to convert it (or how to convert it) to mpeg if that would be more beneficial for you.
