I would like to do a B-Boy type battle with 4-6 freestylers . . . except I'm the only player in this town. You need to be good, but not "guiltess" or "pro". The main thing is long runs and rhythm (able to play on the beat provided by the DJ, and long runs). The crowd has never seen shred, or a scrawny white kid up close for that matter. . . just keep it simple and tight with the music and I think it it will go over fine.
Obviously This "adult entertainment" type of event is not for everybody.
