regarding your pdx whirl, I'd propose you to set the bag a bit more straight up and turn a bit, it not just becomes easier to stall and set out of this stall, but is also considered a lot cleaner. I think you're at the same progress state like I am (semi-successful steps and atomics and strings that are somehow restricted to 8 +/- 4 moves

).
