Should there be a footblog edit button?

Yes and no. There should not be an edit button in the footblogs, and i'll tell you why i think that.
I think that whatever you feel at that exact moment deserves to stay in that post. I've said some pretty stupid things sometimes about how i play, and i wish that i didn't. When i went to go back and edit it out, i realized there was no edit button. But having no edit button only makes sure you keep what you really felt at that particular time.
The only gripe i have against no edit button is that if i forget to add something, well then, it majorly sucks.
I hope you got that first part, it didn't come out as simple as it should have.

Ummm, an edit button would help sometimes but I understand why it's not in the blog section. But, who would really cheat and rig their footblog? Have we really come to this?
The lack of an edit button does force one to proof read what you've written, a task I sometimes forget the importance of.
I'm used to not having an edit button though, so it's cool...

Yes it should have an edit button!
I haven't posted in my footblog in a long time, and one of the reasons is because I was planning on changing the goals and milestones I've reached in my original post and post new ones to hit as I progressed, but I can't now.
Bring back the edit button in Footblogs! Please!

That sounds like a great idea!hacksterbator wrote:i also think there should be an edit button, maybe only if it's opperational for like 5 minutes after the first time it was posted, so you can make some corrections or add some thing you forgot. th3ey have the same like 10 minute edit button thing on flipsider.

While I hope that this topic results in one of the Brads doing something about it - I have a quick question:
Many of you returned the feedback survey, some of you did not - Not very many of you actually mentioned this at all? - That was a good opportunity to mention any grievences - so why didn't you mention it?
about 50 people filled out the survey - I estimate that that's definitly less than 50% of active posters - possibly even less than 25%.
Of those that did fill out the survey - about 75% - 90% offered no real opinions on anything except to make the odd joke and say that they liked the forum (which is no surprise since I figure you wouldn't post here if you didn't like it)
