There are rules on the sizes of avatars but we are pretty lax on them so long as it isn't page size.

any kind of avatar is ok so long as it isn't disruptive.

As a dedicated anti authoritarian with a sense of humour I think that's awesome!

However I suspect that perhaps not everybody would agree with me and while your avatar isn't page size, I think it could be defined as disruptive...

Avatars should not take more room than the default table width is in that column. An avatar as big as HenryG's just make any thread he posts close to unreadable and I would hate to see that happen.
