Dear Footblog,
Lately it seems that I am going backwards in my pusuit of that elusive, but oh so cool trick. I am still nowhere closer to hitting osis than I was 10 days ago although, admitedly I haven't schooled them that much in the elapsed time.
The rest of my game is showing no major signs of improvement but I can feel certain aspects getting stronger. Clipper stalls are what I have been working the most and throwing the odd clipper or two into normal kick runs. Last night was the first night in a while that I managed +300 consecutive kicks. Actually, I hadn't landed more than 100 in a while which I was getting slightly concerned about. I feel that I need to keep working the kicks 'cause my control needs some tlc.
I also worked ATWs last night. They were pretty awful at first but after a few minutes I was landing them really well. Even out-ins were happening somewhat frequently which is a rarity for me.
Inside toe stalls, even though I am still not close to my goal of 50 are getting a whole lot better. I hit 40 once but I don't think I've accomplished more than 25 lately. The movement is getting more natural and my foot is now more relaxed when I stall the bag. It will come...
What I need to do is have another 3-4 hour monster shred soon and just break through a few plateaus that have sprung up. I won't be able to make it this weekend due to a kung fu competition but soon. Time will be made.
