We will probably just go somewhere once we all arrive.

I haven't really talked to Andrew or Joel or Derek but I think Brett and his posse are staying at my house (I'm not sure?) so we will probably all meet at my house once people arrive in town and decide where to go from there (probably the university).

-With 3 attempts Derek hit Montage and Gauntlet in sick 1.
-Brett won 30 second shred (followed by Derek and Andrew)
-Aaron (from Saskatoon) took 1st in intermediate
-Derek came super close to montage > zulu marius
-I won ironman with a weak tiltless run
-Brett won Most Rippin Run
-Derek won sick 3 (I forget the combo)

maaaannn montage and gauntlet in THREE tries!?

I wanted SO badly to come but it just wasn't possible for me to get back in time for school tomorrow without having to leave right when I got there.

There was actually one excited moment where I realised that if I left right then and didn't stop I coulda made it and said to my friend "LETS DRIVE TO WINIPEG!" to which she crushingly replied "had you asked yesterday I would have said yes." and since it is her car there was nothing I could do.

I will be there next year I promise! I don't want to miss anymore damn events.

That's cool, Tom. I had the same problem with the Cloud 9 jam I missed (also missing finally meeting James Risden) -- the only buses available gave me, like, 7 hours in the city...
Sometimes it really sucks that Canada is so empty...

Was anyone filming at Hackrifice? Can we expect video of it soon. I also wanted to be there but I'm flat broke.

I didn't feel like filming so I just didn't. I got a few things on tape, but I won't rush into watching it. I played more than I should have and I need to do extra stretching to recover from that so I'm just going to forget about footbag for a while and pretend that stretching is my hobby.

I got Andrew's legbeater swirl on tape and Derek hit pdx blender beesauce, but I don't really remember what I got as I wasn't very excited about filming. I will probably just throw the little footage I have into the video I am saving up for.
