Cool post. Sounds like a bomb-ass time.
Did the guy who interviewed you for Telemundo wear a bumblebee suit?
I love that guy.

That does sound like a bomb-ass time Jeremy. Props on Superfly Swatter! Also, what is Irish Spring? I'm thinking Backside Johnny Quest (like Big Apple and Little Apple sort of dealio) but I know I'm wrong.

1) Ken, I wasnt drunk driving. I wasn't drunk. I had had 2 beers.
2) I am very sor3e right now. Almost every muscle in my legs seems to ache.
3) I had a session anyway.
4) I hit barfly x4 on two separate occasions, basically just working on the basics. hit symp whirl>drifter on both sides. blurry whirl on both sides. pdx whirl on both sides. spinning clip>ducking clip repeat (for first time ever)

There is so much I left out of my So Cal Jam summary

yeterday, got my gf to try a few mirages and some pixies during the breaks of the first NFL game of the season. She didnt hit any, but she got pretty close to both. Its fun to watch her try them, but oh so frustrating.

Had a long session, felt really slow today. Just worked on some basics.
a few drifters, fewer whirls. Lots of barflies, many blurriests, some ripwalks.

The only thing worth mentioning:
blur>smear>pixie butt>blur>smear>pixie butt>step clip>ripwalk>step clip>ripwalk

Hey Grom,

It's time for you to get inspired to play again. At least shred half as much as you play tennis or else you'll be really slow when you start again!

First session in 15 days i think? Out of pure laziness and disinterest with my game, no one to impress= no shred.
Anyway, I did shred for a bit today, mainly to test the waters and check my stamina.

Overall, I counted contacts on 37 runs. My avg run length was a measley 6.89 contacts. My avg for the first 25 runs (with bag X) was 5.8 contacts. My last 12 runs (with bag y) averaged 8.83 contacts. Pathetic.

The sole bright spot of my contact counting runs was a 32 contact string of mostly butts, osi, and pdx mirages. There were also drifters, and ducking and diving clipper in there as well, maybe a ripwalk or two and a blur. Anyway, it is my longest string ever recorded officially so I am happy with that.

Over the next 3 weeks, I will attempt to push my string length to an average of 12 contacts, which is nearly 200% of my string length today. We'll see how it goes . . .

On a diff note, I am still able to hit blurry whirl both sides, flip blurriest, strong mobius.

Thanks Newf.

Today, in a short session, I was able to hit mobius on try #2, gyro dlo on try #12, an ps whirling xbd rake on try #6 or so. I also tried to hit symp whirl>pdx whirl>repeat, but was on an uneven surface, so Im blaming that for me not having hit it. I absl hit blur>pixie butt>blur pixie butt>blur>pixie butt. I wanna have the stamina to hit that 10x instead of just 3x. Also, I hit 1 tomahawk.

tonight I had a short session, and drilled a few moves and concepts Ive not lately tried. Twas fun.

edit: I hit blender>pdx dlo (for the first time, on my first try!!)
I was able to hit fog bs, flip fog being extremely rare. I was happy to hit flip fog>pixie butt>ripwalk. I hit the fip about 5 to 6 times, fairly easily, about 1nce every 4-5 tries. On strong, I hit fog>paradon, which was cool.
I worked strong barraging set tonight, barely even touched flip . . oh well.
I hit several furys, which I hadn't hit in about a month, and some easy janiwalkers.
I was suuuper happy to hit janiwalker>blurry whirl, which Id never hit before, and which is a new 5>5 for me! YAY! Also, just a few attempts before, I footed it, and hit janiwalker>ripwalk, which I'd only done 3 times previously. I really wanna get that barraging set about 4 inches higher because I know i could much more easily hit moves like nemesis and genesis and fury.

lastly, i tried to hit the "sliding" set, which can best be described as a pogo blur set. Ive seen reile hit it pretty cleanly and was told that Red Husted invented it . . . but im not so sure on that history. Anyway, its pretty damn hard, but i think ill have it in a couple months if i consstently attempt it during my sessions. thanks for reading guys

Just had a pretty dang crazy session!
I dunno why, but I feel like exploiting weird concepts right now so I attempted some unique stuff. Here's what I tried and what I hit:

tried:
- whirling ss bubba beater
- whirling ss dbl down
- whirling ss reaper
- stepping op reaper
- barraging op pickup
- barraging op whirl
- symp whirling rev swirl
- muted blazing set

I hit:
- stepping whirl and stepping blender in one run on same side
- janiwalker>blurriest!!!!!!!!! (another new 5>5 8O )
- muted blazing ps mirage WTF?!!!!! New??
-symp rev. whirling swirl (both legs circling the bag simultaneously)
-flip haze several times (so hard for me, tried it about 100 times at least)

I dont think I'm forgetting anything.

Because I attempted genesis on my strong side so many times yesterday, today the muscles in my leg for my strong barraging set were not functioning for sh-t. Accordingly, I schooled flip barraging set like whoa.

During the (approximate) 300-400 barraging set attempts, I managed to hit:
-several flip janiwalkers, then
-10 janiwalkers in 50 attempts (1:5, by far my best ratio EVER), then:
-6/30 janiwalkers (in an attempt to step out of my flip janiwalker)
-flip janiwalker>ripwalk>ripwalk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-then 150 attempts at flip fury
-during which: 3 flip furys!!!!( my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ever BTW)
-called it quits for the night and rejoiced silently

I had a cool, short session while doing laundry today. Here's what went down:
strong:
- janiwalker>ripwalk>ripwalk (again)
- janiwalker>pdx drifter>15 contact run!!
- janiwalker>pdx dlo>paradon!!!!
- ripped warrior
flip:
-many janiwalkers, nothing special tho

Oh so close to janiwalker>janiwalker :x
My goal is to hit it within the next week. If school doesnt get in the way, I WILL hit it back 2 back.
