Turku Footblog - Summer!!
Yeah. But that netbag wasn't a proper one because it was broken in if I remember right. But he hit Spinning Whirl with a good netbag.
Yesterday (14.9) we were shredding with Felix, Antti, Juha and me as I had planned. We other had a pretty normal day but Felix was so in fire!!
Antti didn't have a good day since he was totaly devastated due overskooling.
Juha has already some tiltless strings with some 3's with.
I had some decent runs and got one new trick: Toe Blur (bs ofcourse)
Felix hit Nemesis again (second time with shoes), Janiwalker > Janiwalker (not new for him) and Alpine Matador
wich was sweeeet!!! Also he had some incredible linkings (Like Big Apple > clip set Symposium Mirage) wich I had never seen from him. Stone C- was totaly in flames...

It really was a thrilling day...Now I just need to catch that cursed Xanabox-drill and my present goals are achieved.

We all are totaly waiting for the Finnish Opens next week... All four are going to compete. Only 6 days left!!!

23.9. FINNISH OPENS WARM UP
Tomorrow are starting the Finnish Opens in Helsinki and we had a warm up session with our crew.
There was official warm ups in Helsinki, but we are going there tomorrow morning. Felix went to Helsinki for the warm up just after he got from school so our session had only me, Antti and Juha.
We were supposed to take it easy because tomorrow is a big day for all of us. But we didn't!
Antti hit Sidewalk and Atomsmasher for the first time. We filmed a bit today (that's very rare!) and we got the Atomsmasher on vid.
Juha hit Sidewalk and showed Ripwalk (wich he had got two days ago) for us.
I was talking with Chris May (Shredster) on Messenger this morning and when talking of furious sets he gave me an idea to try Sunilwalker and Fury.
So I hit Sunilwalker with both sides today. Thanks Chris
At the moment it's about 10 hours before our train leaves to Helsinki!!

So the Finnish Opens came and went.
Vasek won Shred30 and Routine and Felix was second on both.
Matti Pohjola and Oskari Forstén won gold in Net so Turku owned pretty much these Championships. Congrats for all of them.

Allright.. We haven´t been posting anything for a little time because we all have examweek. So today I whined to Anssi at messenger that we have not been shredding lately and he told me to go train alone. First I was not so interested about it but well, better than nothing huh?
So I had a nice session and some shit were hit:
-flip ripwalk (got it first time yesterday)
-flip sidewalk
-flip parkwalk
-paradox illusion
-legover>plo
Some other things were close too, but it was too dark to continue playing at 19:00 local time.
We also got traininplace for winter at Tuesdays. Best thing is that it´s free because we all are under 18.
Oh and one last thing. If you see any errors in my postings I hope you could PM me about it or something. I would also like to improve my English skills.

We had a session yesterday... hadn't had for a loooong time... I hadn't played for 9 days
We - I, Juha, Antti and ony boy from our (mine and Antti's) school, Oskari - went to Kupittaa's Sporthall, paid in and went to change clothes. When we got to the door that lead to the stairs of the hall itself the was a sing "Upstairs closed for the gymnastics competition" We didn't care and went up. Yes, there was a competition...
Umm, girls doing gymnastics ... wait --- they are all under 10 years old... damn!! Well, let's shred, here is plenty of room and we are not distrurbing anyone.
We started to play. Hey, why is that women coming this direction looking like that? "I'm sorry boys but this whole hall is restricted for any other sports. We have rented it. There was a singn at the door." --- "Well yeah, but we have already paid and are not distrurbing anyone (and don't give a fuck about what you are saying) so we are not going to leave!" --- "Sorry boys but you have to." --- "Well okay... (We'll just see about that...)"
So we "left" - to another stairs wich take only to a tiny room with many door - one of them is mens toilet and the others are locked. And we started again shred in that tiny room. We had camera with us this time and we filmed some stuff!! Whoa!
Some of those 8 year old girls changed their clothes at the (mens!) toilet just next to us... that was kinda funny because the toilet was only for men...
Well, we keeped on shredding, basically that ment me and Juha. Antti had also been sick and still couldn't play. Well, he did a bit
- and hit both Whirls for the fist time
When Antti and Oskari left only me and Juha stayed there. Both had pretty bad day. I specially after such a long pause.
Well we were just talking about leaving when the same woman appeart at the stairs. "Is there some girls in the toilet?" she asked. "Yep." - "Ok." --- what was that all about? Well ahe apparently phoned to the sporthalls management, because when we left an other woman, employee of the building, came to us "Oh, are you leaving now boys?" - we were like who is that? "Yes." - "Good I was just about to come and kick you out.... I was called - were there anymore of you?" - at this point we were like what the F? "No." - "Good." Then we just exloded... that was hilarious...
So - pretty lame day

Today me and Felix had a little footbag show at an elementary school. We were supposed to play in front of a class, tell a little about footbag and then teach them to kick in circles at the yard. The school had bought 5 bags for the pupils to kick during breaks. Cool!
The teatching language of that school is Swedish so we had to explain in swedish everyhting 'cause all of the students may not speak Finnish very well. My luck was that Felix has both languages as his mother language (as do many people in Finland and especially in Turku) so I didn't have to explaing anything in front of all the students.
Some of the boys even got into circle kicking pretty well (I bet they had done it before).
The funniest part was that when Felix was teaching in some other circle the class' girls (who had their own circle) were yelling "Fellu! Fellu! Kom hit!"
(Felix said that they maybe knew his little sister) - I'm not going to explaing what's the funny part if you don't already know.
I had to go back to school after that, but it was nice and I'd do it again.
So now you Americans now how we Europeans are so good

I hope we can publish our coming vid around christmas time. We just need to be more active with the filming part

We were just about to start filming. I took the camere and turn it on. Then I asked Antti how is his Witchdoctor coming if he could his first one ever to the camera. He was like "OK, let me try once." And hit it with first try. - DARN! Why didn't I film that? It looked so relaxed and controlled. He didn't hit it on camera...
We filmed Felix too. He hit everything cool but said always something like "that didn't feel good -" or "that wasn't clean -" always when it looked very cool and clean "- you can't publish it." What an assbrush! Kinderficker!!
I tried to hit Marius for camera failing miserably. I better start skooling Pdx Torques again...
