I'll never see something that cool in West Virginia in my lifetime, that's for sure. I'll have to go to a foriegn country T_T . Thanks for that vid, not a high level of shred, but no drops and just plain sweet.

That was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. A bunch of freestyle atheletes (flatland BMX, b-boys, tumblers, ect) putting on a show and showing huge mutual respect and admiration. Ryan represented well, especially given those pants.

That was really cool.

It's too bad the in style fashion didn't happen to be short shorts and a tanktop so Ryan could have really busted. It must have been really hard to play in those pants!

yeh that was pretty sweet, but the one thing that bugged me a bit was that he was a bit one sided when he was kicking.
But the breakers and the flatlander was awesome and ryan was too!.

what do you expect?

Ryan rocked the shit! I'd be hard pressed to hit anything in those shorts and stuff and he busts whirling swirl and ps whirls like cake in a show where every drop is death. mad props!

Yes, the shorts are hard to bust in, but he is still one sided. I think (I'm newer to this sport than the discussion of such topics are) that people have criticized Ryan's one sidedness in the past.

Hi Tom

What is your point? Is Ryan a poor footbag player or that this clip is not cool?

That vid was awesome and Ryan did AWESOME. What's up with you guys? Do you honestly think he can't do that stuff on his flipside? Have you kicked with him much?

#1 priority in a show like that is not to drop.

Let me clarify:

Someone ELSE pointed out he was one sided and I just mentioned that it had been discussed in the past. I wasn't rippin' on ryan.

Ryan is better than I will ever be, this clip was fantastic and the crowd was treated to a phenomenal show that showed off a plethora of freestyle genres.

But that doesn't mean I don't find one-sided shred really annoying, I feel lopsided just watching it.

This is not a footbag competition, footbag demonstration, or footbag related.

This is a performance for a fashion show, the requirements are the same regardless of the discipline on display.

This is not the time to display BSOS, high adds, or that new trick you're working on. I didn't see the flatlander demonstrating any tricks invented since 1986, for example.

These types of shows are about not dropping the bag, and keeping some friggin rhythm and flow to the runs.

People noticing his one sidedness have completely missed the point of the show, and it's lame to try to force props by pointing it out.

Ryan executed under pressure in the outfit, and did so without looking concerned about the clothes. Ryan represented exactly as the fashion company wanted, not trying his highest level stuff. That's why Ryan is making money playing footbag , and you are not.

i dont think ryan has the ability to not look cool. he could have done that with a fannie pack and wizards hat, and he'd still look awesome.
