jesus christ, is this the second year in a row that this event has been brought up as "Kick 'til your sick" instead of "Kick 'til YOU'RE sick"?

This event IS happening and sounds to be much larger than last year. It's looking like the first or second weekend in november, and may even have NBC coverage! 8O
I dont think Bernstein posts here, so keep your eyes on footbag.org for up-to-date info.

whats with everything being in the first or second week? I think there is a conspiracy going on.

So where is Holland PA located anyways. And i'm guessing its a 2 day thing. If it is, what are the accomodations. If it's 1 day, then nevermind. Basically, anymore info will be appreciated.

actually mr. clavens, holland is IN pa. It's in Bucks County, very southeast PA, not too far from philly.
Not to mention, holland is practically 1 town over from thee legend himself, Kenny Shults! you should all come for this fact alone :)

November 6th?! Thirty days in November, and it's the same day as the GWAR show. I don't think I'm attending this one. Especially if it's only one day. If it's two days, I'll consider.

KTYS 2

Post by Shr3dM4n »

Hey everyone. It's Jon Bernstein, Host of KTYS. This thing is definitely going on. It's going to be great also. I'm workin on getting a lot of public exposure for the event as well. Its in the local paper and Im getting it written up in the Philly Inquirere. Not to mention the likelihood of coverage by NBC News at the event itself. I know it's only one day, but it is a 10 hour event, in the best venue conceivable at a low cost. Check out the event at Footbag.org for more at the link below:

Hope to see everyone there,

Jon

What's everyone's plans for this event. Coming on saturday and then leaving that night or sunday night or are you coming on friday night, staying all day saturday and then leaving ...? Roch. crew wants to know when the most freestylers are going to be there so we can have a pre or post event shred night!

so I just got back from this tournament, and it was a blast! There were a surprising amount of people there, I'm not good at estimating but I would guess there were roughly 40 people? Kenny Shults was there and was freestyling! The knee wasn't 100% but he was still busting. Peter Irish was there and he was shredding hard too, I saw him hit a bunch of nasty combos: blurry torque> blurry torque, pdx torque>alpine blurry whirl, and a bunch of others. Competition was crazy.
Open shred 30 (off the top of my head): 1. Chris Kovacs 2. Peter Irish 3. Josh Benham.
Chris ripped it up in this event with one drop and ended his shred 30 with blurry whirl> pdx torque
Sick One was awesome. Chris busted blurry torque first try, then on his next attempt hit marius! I thought he was gonna win until I realized that Pete still had yet to go. Pete busted stepping symposium blur and then blew everyone away with timberwulf (leaning torque)!! Yea, Pete won sick trick and got a du-rag as the prize! After competition and when things started winding down we forced Matt Cross to shred himself sick with a barefoot session (this has been the tradition on the EC after tournaments have ended). Matt busted some sick stuff, maybe even invented some of it? I will have a video up later showcasing Matt's barefoot session. But yea, all around it was a great tournament.
