First pair of Lavers!

Hey guys, just got my first pair of Lavers that I ordered about 4 days ago from WFA! I got the combo and I'm real excited with the Tricks of the Trade vid too!! I'm just really happy cause these shoes are lighter than the ones I always bag with!! Woohoo!! Now, gotta modify em'. Hope I don't screw up!

It will feel akward at first, but hang in there man! They will turn out to be our shoe of choice over your other pair in no time

I got the same deal....

Moding can be very nerve racking the first time. I was afarid I was going to cut to far on the toe mod. But just cut it all the way down to the leather!

Also, if you cut out the canvas. TAKE PEOPLE'S ADIVE! I was bored so I just took my pocket knife a had at it. Big mistake. Either soak 'em or use a hairdryer. Or you cut a hole in your mess.

Thanks for the replies guys!! I just finished modding the shoes about 45 min. ago and went down to shred with them for about a half an hour!! And, man, I just hit the longest combo I ever hit in my life!! Only about 11 or 12 contacts, but that's the longest for me!!!

Oh, Melissa, yeah I kinda just looked at the picture guide thing from footbag.org and modded my Lavers, but I also ended up with a hole in the side of my shoe!

Hehe... Once again, thanks for the replies guys!! Now, off to the New Runs thread...

I just did the same thing you did and got the package deal but those white white lavers get so freckin dirty so fast, but yes they are the best shoes I have ever bought in my entire life, I can stall and stall and stall like there is no tommorow.
