Was it Jere's plan to go completely around the stage in the beginning? He is really good! I think he's right up there with some of my faves. That routine of his was just plain sick
Vasek's was, well Vasek. Very exact in all his movements as usual, and dropless of course.
Honza's was almost better in my opinion though. I think he had a little more variety. Regardless, his routine still kicked ass.
I must also say that it is nice to know that masters such as these can drop such simple tricks. It just goes to show that footbag isn't all "talk"...
I did notice a thing about Penske...on his right hand, it looks like he has one finger pointing down almost the entire time. That looks really cool
It looks like he is just totally "down" with footbag
His off balance style didn't look too bad...I thought it looked different and cool.
I sort of have style like Irish in a way...Sort of bouncy
Only he's way better. The only complaint i have is the use of toe stalls a lot. But other than that, he is one of the first people i saw shred and he is still awesome
O and gordon's rake combos were sickish
Rakes aren't used enough and they sure are stylish.
Thanks a lot

does anyone know what song Peter used during the first round of routines? That song kicked ass and im curious if the makers of it have other good shred songs? Although its not shown in this topic, peter's routine first round was dropless and kicked soooooo much booty. Juggling three balls in his hands and two bags on one foot at the same time in a routine was the most INSANE thing I had ever witnessed in any routine. About these routines, there were soo many good ones. I especially liked Bevier's and Honza's. I love the presentation factor in both of these, there was more to the routine then just the tricks (bevier's patented dance, honza's arm pincher and flex during the spiderman song). All in all, worlds competition was so cool to watch!

alex,
my first round routine music was Fingerbib by Aphex Twin, which has become sort of a theme song for me. Aphex twin is great but not all of his stuff is shredable.
thanks for the props--as for my finals routine, Damon was right--i was not totally focused and it was not my best performance. what you saw was not exactly what i had planned but i'm not making excuses--that's the way it goes sometimes. it's all good. huge props to everyone in finals this year.
By the way, since it hasn't been mentioned--2 interesting facts about finals this year:
1. I was the only person in finals over 23 years old
2. I was the only person in finals with more than 5 years competition experience.
