Footbag decathlon

Post by ebo »

The idea for a footbag decathlon apparently stems from switzerland.
(details in german are here)

The disciplines:

High-Clipper: Toss the bag from Clipper over a bar. Highest Clipper wins,
obviously.

Far-Pendulum: Throw the bag as far as you can from a Pendulum.

30 meters "mirage"-Run: Sprint 30 meters doing nothing but mirages.
If you drop, you start from the drop point.

Short-Golf: 3 holes, one kick each.

Golf: 5 holes

Sprint-Kicking: Basically a kick:30. Most kicks wins.

Marathon-Kicking: One try, most kicks win, no time limit.

Butterfly-High Jump: Jump over a rope/bar, ending in a butterfly.
Highest wins.

4Square: normal 15points 4Square

Highest Stall: Throw the bag as high as you can in the air, with your hand,
and catch it with a toe/inside/clipper stall. the time between throwing
it up and catching it is measured, and by that the height is calculated.

sounds pretty good to me..perfect event for lazy tournament sundays..

In Denmark we think of you as hero now - with good idea and much originality!

It's a great idea - thank you for translating it!

ahh yes, i´ve red something about this idea on the footbag.ch page.
and all of us like this idea much. especially 30m miraging :P . We´re even
thinking about to train miraging walks before shredding.
I think generally most people are interested in new funny disciplies.

Thats a sweet idea. There should be one of those at competitions, not as an event, just for fun. I like highest stall the best.
