Remember Swixie set?

Post by Cod »

Do you remember my Swixie set?

Few weeks ago I hit some moves from this set with my cam, because I wanted to know if the set isn't 'the'. Then I forget about these videos. Few minutes ago I found it in my footbagfolder and I want to show it for you. I think the cleanest Swixie is in swixiemirage and swixieosis video. What do you think about this set and these moves?

I cannot tell you if the set is clean or not - I havn't checked it out good enough, but you surely don't do a xbd pendulum ( = Pendulus) set, that has a way different look.
I definatly see more than a xbd toe set, but.. Can you do them more and then film it from another angle?

if you watch it frame-by-frame, you see that the pixie is done very
fast and with almost no effort. Props on the set, Cod.

I slowmoed the videos. Correct me if I'm wrong but there is no dexterity involved in the set...

I've done this set before, it even kinda feels like you're dexing, but after looking really close at my self, and as close as possible at your videos, I don't think there's a dex there. it's like the reverse of a "rev swirling" same rake from clipper. it's not actually a reverse swirl, you're just kind of setting the bag to the back of your foot. in this case, you're setting the bag up past the other side of your foot from xbd toe, but not really dexing it. it's just a pendulous set past the outside of your foot (as I often do them, espec. when trying stepulous) with a pause in the middle.

please don't take this criticism the wrong way, Michal. i think you've got great, smooth style, and big, clean dexes, and you're really creative, too. This is just how I feel about this set based on my experiences. :)

You gave us superb description of this set Matthew :). But know, tell me, what's Jobs of this set ;)? And what's Jobs of "Reverse Swirling" Rake?

PS. Thanks for these words:
