Ducks, Dives and my groin

Post by *Jethro* »

Can ducks and dives be bad for your neck and do you long term dammage? Because my neck kind of clicks when i move it in a circle now (but not really when im ducking and diving) , im not sure if this is a result of a bad technique or if im supposed to use my body more instead or my neck.

EDIT: I didnt want to make another topic, but whenever i dex with my flipside my groin makes a fairly loud clicking/popping noise and kind of hurts, especially when i try atw's.

Interesting question. I`ve noticed that there are at least 2 different styles people use to duck and dive. People like Wulff, Holton and myself, use our bodies to dive and duck, whereas people like Lon and Sam Colclough tend to use their necks more. I don`t know which is better, but I think the Lon-neck technique gives you more time. People who can double duck/dive use the neck-whipping style.
