depends what mood I'm in but I usually prefer something a bit up tempo if it's dancy stuff or heavier / faster if it's rock.

A few of my best cds to listen to while shredding are:

Helsinki Mix Sessions by Jori Hulkonan (if anybody knows this cd, pls recommend something similar to it, cause I think it's the best deep house mix out there and am struggling to find an equal)
Cut & Paste album (forgot the name but it rules; heavey, heavey beats)
Future Sounds of the UK Mixed by the Freestylers
The Datsuns- The Datsuns
NERD- Fly or Die
Hip Hop Don't Stop mixed by Prime Cuts
Journey by DJ- Coldcut, 70 mins of maddness

I only listen to music when I shred at home cause I can pump the volume and rock the house while I shred. When I'm out and about, like 90% of my shreds I just shred in silence with the comforting tap tap of the footbag. That actually really relaxes me, just doing cons inside kicks with no particular purpose, ahhh.

i like the beastie boys, red hot chilli peppers and footbag music (music from footbag vids/dvd's) also classical can be good sometimes and decent techno stuff. Even punk can be good (rufio,pennywise etc.)

rap is not one of my most favorite types of music but it keeps a good beat to kick to also i like dj shadow and 311, 311 has alot of good stuff to footbag to.

Beastie Boys, Sage Francis, RJD2, and some techno stuff by Aphex Twin or Squarepusher. Good 'ole footbaggin fun with those igniting tunes.

I like to shred to Drum n base best, like concord dawn or Roni size, etc.

But there are ALOT of types of music and groups which I can bust too eaisily.

Nice to see such a classic there. Indeed, good shred music.

Most of the time we shred without music because we have no
boombox for playing outside. Which is a shame, really.
I particularly like shredding to music around 130-135 bpm, because
that's the right speed to play in sync with the music.
Daft Punk or the likes. Octex. etc.
