Not much time for a detailed post but here are the results from the last weekends premiership fixtures.

Middlesbourgh 0 vs Chelsea 1
Chelsea's good start continues, only 1 goal scoered against them so far.

Fullham 1 vs Southhampton 0

Manchester City 0 vs Arsenal 1
City went about the game the right way attacking Arsenal from the kick off. A good goal by Ashley Cole was enough to get all 3 points.

Spurs 0 vs Man Utd 1
A questionable penaly decision was all that separated the 2 sides.

Aston Villa 1 Crystal Palace 1
Villa will consider this result as 2 points dropped to premiership new comers Palace who have yet to win a game.

Liverpool 3 Norwich 0
Good win for LFC esp since Gerrard's injury in their dull performance against United. Baros, Garcia and Cisse all got on the score sheet. Hopefully will set the mood for their Champions league match later this week.

Newcastle 3 vs West Brom 1
Newcastle improving each week.

Bolton 1 vs Birmingham 1
Bolton were unlucky to have Pederson's goal dissallowed. A bad decision saw the trotters having to share the points. Birmingham need a little boost.

Portsmouth 0 vs Everton 1
Another good result. Everton sit in 3rd place right now, congrats.

Spain
Madrid's woes continue as they lost again this week.

Barcalona and Valencia sit tie at the top after both winning their games this weekend.

thanks for all of this info man! I just got into soccer a little bit ago since my friend Mario had been playing since he was 5 or so. I personally like Man U, but it seems they are having a little trouble this year.

My fav. player though would have to be Theory Henry, he is the shit!

Hey, it's me, you're favourite soccer expert guy under the guise of 'GUEST'. They'll never know, MWHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. Anyway, match day 2 of both group stages in the Champions League has been and gone. Here's the latest results:

Monaco 2 vs. Deportivo 0
Depor's woes continue. Monaco are not the same side that reached the finals last year and yet Depor are still not getting results. Not good enough.

Olympiakos 1 vs. Liverpool 0
The worst fucking Liverpool display I have ever seen!!! Not 1 shot on target for the entire 90 mins is laughable at this level. Rivaldo was the man of the match for me. It seems he's ready to do the dirty work for the Greek giants.

Dynamo Kiev 4 vs. B. Leverkusen 2
Good win for the Ukrane team who may just be able to steal qualification for the next round. BL will be dissappointed esp after thrashing Madrid on day 1.

Real Madrid 4 vs Roma 2
Madrid were 2 nil down at half time but a brilliant come back led by captain Raul finally gave the Bernabeu something to cheer about. Better from Madrid. YAY.

Bayern Munich 4 vs. Ajax 0
Eek! Poor Ajax. Seems the young Dutch side were overwhelmed by Munich's clinical organisation. Makaay scored at least twice in the game (scoring 8 of Bayern's 9 last golas)

Juventus 1 vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv 0
Great result for Maccabi! Seriously, many would have forseen a 7 goal slaughter in Turin. But, 3 points are 3 points for Juve...

Man U 6 vs. Fernabache 2
ROONEY!!!! Or, ROONALDO as they call him made his debut both for United and the Champ's League. How does he handle the pressure? He goes on to score a hatric, and a great one at that! Amazing. Not since 1905 has a player scored a hatric on his debut for United. The boy is still 18.

Sparta Prauge 1 vs. Lyon 2
Good away result for Lyon who had to come back from a goal down.

PSV Eindhoven 1 vs. Panathanaios 0
3 points for the dutch team who were unlucky to come away empty handed against the Arsenal.

Rosenborg 1 vs. Arsenal 1
Arsenal went 1 nil up inside 10 mins but failed to kill off a well organised opposition. Wenger will lament his cautious approach and see this as 2 ponts dropped.

Milan 3 vs. Celtic 1
Milan were favourites but the game was even until the dying minutes. Celtic still looking for their first away win in the comp.

Barcelona 3 vs. Shaktor 0
Like I said, watch this team every chance you get! By far the most exciting side in Europe and possible the world with a glut of attacking talent that'll tear any defence appart eventaully.

Anderlecht 1 vs. Inter Milan 3
Good win for Inter, although speculation around Vieri continues to grow as he was left out of the squad last night.

Werder Bremmen 2 vs. Valencia 1
The Che threw away a 1 goal lead to eventaully come away empty handed.

CSKA Moscow 2 vs. PSG 0
Pari Saint Germain have had a terrible start to the season and it looks like the champ's league will be no different.

Chelsea 3 vs. Porto 1
Ex Porto boss Jose M was spat on by Porto supporters. He stayed calm and won the game. Chelsea's defence have only been breached twice this entire season.

A big match on Sunday when Liverpool travel to miserly Chelsea. Let's hope the Reds can turn their away form around when it counts!

The latest results from the past weekend's play. No games for 2 weeks due to Intenational games, but at least they're world cup qualifiers.

West Brom 2 vs. Bolton 1
Westbrom picked up their first win of the season against the trotters who have been in terrifc form of late beating Liverpool and earning points from both Man U and Arsenal. Kanu (ex gunner) put w.brom ahead and captain Zoltan Gera got his name on the score sheet (desevedly for his man of the match performance) to double the lead. Greek International, Stelios pulled 1 back for Big Sam's Bolton but it was not enough.

Everton 0 vs. Spurs 1
Great result for Santini who seems unable to put a foot wrong lately. Everton have been in great formand were 3rd in the log last week, they'll consider this 3 points dropped.

Arsenal 4 vs. Charlton Athletic 0
THUMP! Charlton held out but eventually wilted under the heat of the Arsenal attack. Henry scored one of the greatest goals of the season so far with a cheecky but driving back-heel. He then smashed in another unstoppable shot but by then it was too late. Reyes and Henry link up so well and with Bergkamp, well, the scoreline says it all. They just need to bring that confidence into the champion's league.

Norwich 2 vs. Portsmouth 2
Norwich still without a win. A point for Harry and Portsmouth away is a good result.

Blackburn Rovers 2- Aston Villa 2
Villa are drawing a few too many of their games. Angel (villa) is getting back to form so it's only a matter of time before the wins start rolling. Still a point away is a point away.

Southampton 0 Man City 0

Chelsea 1 vs. Liverpool 0
Ok, it was another loss but I could see it coming, the score line as well. Liverpool were good and Rafa made a few interesting changes but I really think that the premiership lends itself to a 4-4-2 formation. Playing 1 striker upfront (Cisse) leaves too much for him to do if he gets any service at all. Nobody is ever up to support him and with Chelsea's defence you've got to put them under pressure. Alonso also had a bad game. His free kicks (4 indentical mistakes from the same spot) left lot to be desired and even pulled his jersey over his head in frustration when he missed the last 1. Only 1 shot on goal is not good enough. Rafa will take time at Liverpool and this is not a bad result for LFC as even the most hardened Liverpool fan couldn't have had too much hope for this 1. Chelsea's dream start continues.

Birmingham 2 vs. Newcastle 2
Good game, good result for both teams.

Man U 1. vs. Middlesbourgh 1
ManU were trailing for most of the game until Smith came off the bench to clinch the equaliser with a superb header from a Ronaldo freee kick/corner.
Not the best Premiership Debut from Roonaldo...

Crystal Palace 2 vs. Fullham 0
Go Palace! The first win of the season for the new commers, Fullham will be asking questions.


Spain:

Barcalona are on top of the table after beating Numancia 1-0. A goal from Larsson gave the Cataln's the points.

Madrid hosted Deportivo La Carunia hoping to get their winning form back. It looked good on paper, Depor had not won in Madrid in a long time but, records are there to be broken. A brilliant counter attack and Goal from Luque took the wind out of madrid who didn't look like they could score a goal in 4 hours. 1 nil to Depor, eye caramba!

Valencia drew.
