So I won my fight in Las Vegas this past weekend. Dominated every round. Still undefeated :D

Next week I will be in the school paper as a feature presentation for boxing and footbag. Not quite sure what its gonna be like yet, but I will keep you all posted.

First time playing in a month and a half or so

My stepping is weak as hell but everything is still there.

I'd like to become a 2x national champ in my last 2 years of college, we shall see how that goes.

Got drunk for the first time since worlds last night, I am so lightweight.. I am never drinking again. In other news, played with the aftermath of a bad hangover, body was fatigued but I hit a few pretty cool runs.

One of them had pdx blender > pdx torque with reaper bsos.. (reaper is pdx dso right?)

Drifter stuff is starting to feel very good, the windows are becoming pretty big even with a dex infront.

Its amazing how much leg strength is lost after not playing for just 2 months. My stepping is so draining and feels a little forced. Even stuff like ducking can't be lazy without the muscles up to par.

I have about 2 more months of footbag before I have to stop for boxing season again, time to drill hard :)

Hello footblog, long time no see. Today I played footbag.

Pixie everything almost x2
Rubberman > blubberman
Medium length run with bedwetter bsos, stepping pdx dlo bsos > sealed with scorpions tail
void bsos

I had a great time at Vegas jam. It was good to see everyone I have played with previously, as well as meeting new people. I played fairly well at Vegas jam despite never having time to play anymore, and when I do have the time, I still don't play. I don't think any good footage came out of me from Vegas Jam. Despite being able to box infront of crowds of 1000+, I cannot play footbag in front of a camera or do a string longer than 6 contacts in circle because I get painstakingly nervous.

Footbag lately has become something I only pick up when I am afraid of burning out on boxing. Every once in a while I get absolutely fed up with being punched in the face, and the stress of being team captain, which puts the world on my shoulders when in relation to the coaches expectations. When this stress becomes too much I take a hiatus and play some footbag. This serves to keep me in shape, and my face bruise free for atleast a week.

I picked up the insanity workout program because I viewed some of the workouts on youtube and saw that they don't use weights (which slow your hands down) and are basically what you do during a training camp getting ready for a fight. These workouts are quite intense, and not only help for boxing, but also help you become flexible, and build strong legs. I can absolutely 100% notice a difference in my game due solely to Insanity. If you have the 140 or so dollars to spend on this, I recommend it. After all, every sport requires some outside conditioning. This is not some pathetic attempt at a plug as I have no affiliation to the program other than participation through the dvd's.

I have also been fly fishing atleast 3x a week lately. I just picked it up as a hobby after having done it once a few years previous. I haven't found my monster trout yet, but I have a feeling some day I'll snag one!

Here is a little video of me sparring some big guy the other day. I'm in blue head gear, going real light till the end when I hit him with a pretty hard combo on the ropes. Apologies for the quality.

If you have me on facebook and we talk normally, remind me to update my footblog, and get on my ass if I don't. Thanks, toodaloo.
