Bleh.
Naw -- of course I'm not quitting. I managed to squeeze two hours of my day into running back to my house to shred, stretch, copy some movies, have a long bath (hadn't bathed in a week), eat dinner and do some laundry. I played footbag for about 10 minutes, got really frustrated with having to listen to Christmas music, having to help my family put Christmas boxes back downstairs and having people walking back and forth in my way. I also felt a lot of pain in my hip after that 10 minutes -- probably because I did, like, stepping and whirls and stuff after not playing for a while.
I didn't even have time to have a bath. I had a quick shower and had to run back over to Marita's house. It put me in a really bad mood and I don't want to have to be that stressed out to play footbag or feel rushed. Sunday sounds AWESOME. I think Marita has to go to her family's anyway, and I don't think I'm invited. I work until 5, so if that works I'm game! I miss playing so much

We were supposed to play today to get some exercise in for once, but we spent a lot of the time making cookies and Marita was transfixed with my brother playing Ninja Gaiden 2 on NES and asked if we could play Yoshi's Island, to which I replied, "Yoshi's Island is for SNES" (Marita doesn't play video games at all and doesn't really like that I do). I convinced her that Mario 3 is the prequel to Yoshi's Island (from before Yoshi was born...) and she ended up having a blast with it but kept hitting me when I would suck her into the double games and when she kept jumping into the crabs. *Did anyone else ever celebrate the ladder double game by playing tag and not touching the boxes?? That was so much fun!!)
I am in the basement now -- I convinced them that I was checking my grades from first term. I actually meant to, but they aren't available yet, apparently...)
OH! Marita's mom bought me skates today! So we went skating (it's, like, -35 celcius right now...) It was super fun and we weren't cold at all because we a;; ;ayed up, like, 7-8 tops, snowpants, a couple scarves and hats and I had 2 mitts and 3 layers of socks (including wool). It was sp much fun, but the ice was really bumpy and it was dark so we couldn't see the bumps. I have skated once in my life before that and I was so young I just walked around the rink holding onto the wall. We are going skiing on Monday, I think. We are skating more tomorrow and maybe tobogganing. It's my mom's birthday and parents' wedding anniversary, so I am going to bake a cake and finish my cookies.
We are having Christmas dinner on Saturday and opening presents. Marita is going to come over to my house (for once) and it should be a BLAST!
It's freezing down here. I am going to finish my stretches (maybe) and climb into bed with Marita. I am very hungry and cold.
I got really rad Christmas presents, but nobody else has put anything under the tree yet! (Video to come...)
Merry Christmas!
Andrew: can you PM me or try phoning again, some time, about the jam on Sunday? I would really like to make it. Let's get Mark out, too!
