Yeah, don't get me wrong, I am certainly not complaining that I have too many people to shred with!

I just need more tom time. :)

We played again today, it was fun as usual. We started with 4 square, it's a good game to get a little warm with, it's fun. Some of the juggler kids played with us and were stoked, they loved the game. We have some good rules we've been coming up with, I think Tom mentioned he would post them in the 4-square forum. I especially like:
-making a fart noise every time you come in contact with the bag
-jumping up and yelling WHEEEEE!!!! when the bag leaves your square
-cover one eye

Those are just a few, but they all make for a hilarious goofy game of 4-square.

Shred wise I can't remember what I was going to say, it probably wasn't anything cool, other then Osis>x-body rake, and the fact that I am sooooo close to flail, until it begins to hurt my hip. I'm suprised to not be sore for the amount I've been playing.
I'm probably going to drill tomorrow. I was thinking, we could have KFM drill sessions, with strictly drilling. Eh, it would probably turn into shred, but it's a good thought I guess. Maybe the only way to drill is alone.
I'll see how the day goes, I have a final at 7PM I might be studying for all day.

****WARNING****
*THIS POST IS A RANT, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ MY BITCHING AVERT YOUR EYES! THANK YOU.*

ZZZZZzzzzzz. I'm back to hating this sport, when you play something a lot aren't you supposed to get better? My progress is so slow now-a-days it's depressing as hell.
After playing an hour I should be going BOP's and guiltless for the amount of time I've played, but instead I do fucking butterfly>butterfly>pxdmirage>legover>maybe smear/plo almost EVERY run. I think I've lost creativity, I used to throw down way more variations with DLO's and symp mirages...
Or I try to go tiltless and can't hit more then 5 contacts. fuck.
My stepping has made no progress, my shuffle blows, the only things that have got better are my fairys.
I should be able to do plo>smear>rpt 5/10 times (or more), instead I do it 1/20.
I should be able to hit ripwalk X2 midrun like it's nothing, instead I'm lucky if I hit it once in an entire session.
I thought my atomics were improving, but they haven't really at all, I still have so much trouble with atomsmasher x 2.
I should be able to hit whirl x 5 bs, I can't even hit it x2...
My crank is crap, my game is crap.
I'm healthy, there isn't any reason why I shouldn't be able to move fast enough to shuffle, I'm not crippled in any way.
GRRRRRRRRRR.
Footbag is the one thing I'm supposed to be good at, instead I suck. This sport doesn't make sense... I hate it right now.
Love,
Jake

Awww.... Cheer up Jake. All is not lost. You just need a bit of a footbag hiatus and sleep on it a bit so your brain has the chance to process and problem solve the things its learned from your mistakes for future references in your sleep.

You should SEE the progress you've made through Tom and My eyes. I remember you coming to shred with us at the gazebo this summer. Your game may not have improved as much as you would have liked, but your style and form has cleaned up tonnes. That just means bright days in the future and less injury too.

Just play with Tom and the boys tomorrow, then take a break over the holidays. We'll start over come January. A new year, a new start! Happy holidays!

I just ended a drill sesh down in the basement of my parents' house. My mom is the cutest because she decided to join in at the end of it when I was out of breath. She even hit a few toe stalls!

Nothing spectacular. I hit sidewalk bs. That's about it. I drilled flipside clippers mostly. I also realized why I can't kick. It's the same reason I can't flipside clipper set for shit. I drilled flipside inside kicks too. Right-sideways... no! BSOS!

I LOVE YOU TOM! :D :D

Tonight was a fun session. I met Jack Wei for the first time, he's a cool kid, not to mention he's good at footbag. We had 5 guys at one meeting, I think that's a record for KFM male's since I've been in Kingston. I played well again finally!!! It was a good time. My highlights...

-paradox illusion>fairy muted clipper>rpt (i saw scott bevier hit it in a video once, but not repeat... pretty stylie, eh?)
-smear>fear>smudge>fudge off the foot
-paradox torque bs
-flail (sealded finally)
-ducking clipper x 4
-butterfly>stepping far pickup>plo>rpt
-ripwalk x2 (the way I can't usually hit it)

Everyone hit a bunch of new shit tonight, it was pretty sweet. One of the best meetings yet, I hope when I get back there will be more like that. When I get back home, I'm going back to the basics pretty hard. I'm going to try to learn drifters finally I think. That should make my game better. Someday I want to get good at grifters, they're freakin sweet looking, it would be dope to have them in my game. Bye until next year...

I haven't bene playing since I got home, so today I just tried to solo. I wasn't really feeling it today, I only drilled osii, but my timing was weird. I don't think I was awake enough to play. It just didn't click today, so I decided to stop before I got annoyed. I hope all is well in Kingston :) .

KFM! KFM! KFM! KFM!

Just arrived home from TO. I had the opportunity to shred with Adam Greenwood and Josh Lacky, and of course Tom. They all played really well, for like, six hours. We had a little circle comp and a 4 square game. Hope I can meet more of their team soon!

KFM! KFM! KFM!

We got Tom, Pengu, Derick, Jake*, Jack**, Greg and I. So lets get rollin, diehard shredding, hoppin tunes, 4 square playin, stichen bags, and most importantly supporting each other in our journeys to become better skilled, highly efficient, well oiled machines!

Heres what I've hit recently:
DATW bsos
magellin bsos
magellin>nillegam
double switchover
atomsmasher rpt
smear>PLO rpt
smugde
pixie dyno
pixie ducking butterfly
Lots of stepping stuff
spinning rpt x 5
32 ss clippers
14 tiltless string -unique-

Soon to hit:
pixie double switchover
stepping barfly, or blurry double down i guess
blurry whirl

I make this promise to KFM - I will hit triple around the world before I go tree planting in May, so will Tom and Derick!!

* - unavailable
** - in London

.........KFM KFM KFM...KFM..........KFM..................................

KFM! KFM! KFM!!

Yeah! Toronto was fun!

I shredded with Adam Greenwood one-on-one on tuesday and it was fun.
We both hit some good stuff and I was VERY impressed by adams progress!

We played again on Thursday (which made John and me happy since otherwise we were missing the weekly KFM meeting) with John and Josh also in attendance.

Josh Lackey is going to be really good!! He has been doing tiltless stuff for really long and his strings are like three years long now, it's great. Pretty soon he'll start upping the intensity and he'll go craaazy.

I am so proud of John Bagi!!!
He's the keenest newbie Ive ever had! Like.. way keener than I could ever have imagined! He's slaying the sack, stitching a ton and he just shows so much damn enthusiasm towards life, I love it!!!

I'm not sure if I have any shred highlights worth posting....
uhm....

phoenix>gravedigger
twirl>drifter bsos
stepping clip>reaper bsos

I maybe did other things too. Geez, all I do is shuffle, I finally understand Johnny's distaste for his shuffle. It didnt make sense to me when he said it to me when I was a newbie but now I feel his pain. All I want to do is spin and that's the only thing I cán't do.

It's okaaaaaay.

KFM! KFM! KFM!!!!!!
