Which colors to choose?!

Field's has new and returning colors in stock!

brigt violet looks amaaazing! incredible sub for princess purple as a good purply purple (punch is a bit pinky)

but summer brown looks just like brownstone on the swatch, and i love brownstone...

bummed these didnt come out before my order like a week and a half ago!

I think Summer Brown might be a mix between Sable and Brownstone. It looks to be a good medium. I also feel that Punch still tops all, but Bright Violet is a good addition. There needs to be more variety in purple(s).

I have more than enough facile at the moment. What I would like to buy are more unique varieties of color than clones in a way. I think Zinnia is a poor purchase of mine two orders ago, not becauseof anything in particular, but because that color and Rapture Rose are just way too similar.

I do want to get "Blue" though. I feel like I've been lied to for quite awhile, thinking it was Splash Blue which I already have. I also need to restock on necessities, such as Black Noir.

whats a good purple and pink?

does anyone like Small Zebra or Large Zebra?

is there a difference between the two?

Princess purple and Punch are great outstanding looking purples. They also play well as well.

As for pink, Rapture Rose and Zinnia are great representations, though Zinnia is a tad duller/darker. However, if you're looking for a good amount of strength, Opal is your color.

You can try using Bright Violet as well. It's always a good thing to try new colors.

If it were me, I would choose Small Zebra, because Large Zebra might show too much "black" for a good looking print color. But in my personal opinion both colors would only look good on a 4, 8, 10, 12 and 14-paneled bag, because the panels on those are significantly larger than that of a 32-paneled bag, and would show the pattern of the facile print much better.

But you don't have to listen to me on that last comment. Do whatever you wish.

I would like to order some facile, as i have read, the best for making footbags, but only I could find ultra suede light from Field's Fabric.
Where could I buy some, which also ships to Europe. I know Field's Fabric. Do you recommend that place, or any other place better?
I would like to order small amounts of fabric and it would be very cool if a lot of different colours.

Also I am very confused of these:
Field's Fabrics Ultrasuede light variety pack, found at the "accessories" bar
and
the Field's Fabrics Sample Set.
The sample set costs less(15$) and says "includes all colours and styles on that list", where are a lot more colours than 18, as in the variety pack(20$)
Please can someone explain this, as I think this would be the best purchase for me, as I get to know all the different colours.

Karla,

Ultrasuede light is the same as facile, so you found the right stuff. Most people on here buy their material from Fields.

I recommend the 18 piece variety pack of ultrasuede light. I actually purchased a pack a week or two ago and there's definately enough material there to make a good 30-50 bags, with endless color combinations.

The $15 sample set includes fabrics other than ultrasuede light, and the swatches are much much smaller.

Has anyone had problems with Dark Jade?
It might just be a weird accident, but a Dark Jade hex on a brand new bag I made instantly blew out.. just wondering if it's always going to be this weak.

Dark Jade is pretty weak, yes. I rarely use it unless someone asks me to make an instantly shreddable 32. And even then finding colors that would match with it is pretty difficult as well.

I'd say its about a hair thicker than flash red.. but it feels really stiff. i guess it will be fine after break in.. i started making a bag with it so i'll get back to you

ive been looking for the 18 piece pack thing on fields but cant find it anywhere.

i hope someone will reply because it seems like the only way im ever going to end up getting some usl.

P.S. Can someone tell me about the quality or durability of splash blue and bright violet. I need some info because if i ever orde some fabric i want it to be worth it.
Oooor if someone could suggest between all of the fabric a simple two color soccer ball pattern out of the two best fabrics that arent to stiff. this would be a dream and a big save from my money.

COUNTRY CREAM, FLASH RED, IMPERIAL BLUE

these colors make dope bags every time, and they look good. If you're just starting out, make sure you get those, and whatever else you want to experiment with.

those are my top 3 favorites.
