Hello Matt.
Has anyone tried the bismuth shot. I heard that it is heavier then the steel, a little lighter then lead, softer then both, and non-toxic. It is a bit more expensive, like $10 for two pounds, but it comes in all the same sizes. I think that I will try to make one if it turns out to be good stuff. Maybe with some little chunks of cotton or some more of the same old stuff.

Ben Rawsko uses bismuth, as far as I can tell it's a little too expensive for the few advantages it has. Stick with steel. Good thinking though.

I've looked on google at a variety of sites that sell polypellets, but none show the actual size of the pellets. Where could I find the right type of pellet for footbags.

Poly Pellets ARE the right type of pellets for footbags.... so either order some from the sites you found or go to michaels craft store and ask for it... call around to different craft stores.... some wal-marts even sell it...
