Yeah, Windsor is super cool, and doesn't really deserve any sort of BS lingo denigrating his name.

Years ago when I was still kind of new, I had been warned that Windsor had an attitude problem, and then I met him at a jam in Vegas, and I thought "man, this guy is actually really funny and cool, what were all those people talking about?" Later on, I remeber him randomly call us up in Colorado with offers of job opportunities and stuff, just 'cause he figured it might be to our benefit. I liked his style alot too. At a time when Atomic was new, and ducks and dives were just starting to explode, Windsor had more of a classic shred style that seemed to focus on spins, double downs, whirling swirls and blenders, etc., but he always seemed to use the old stuff in creative ways. I particularly liked the way he'd barrage out of osis-stuff, like blender, spinning osis, or just plain osis. It seemed to me that nobody else used barrage that way, and I thought it looked real cool. Paradon > Blender > Barrage is a cool combo.

Windsoring, Piltzing, that stuff was all just little jokes on the down-low. They were never meant to have any serious significance, those things just grew out of proportion. I remember back at Worlds '99 all this stuff was still just a little joke that some of the Boulder Blades guys liked to tell amongst ourselves, hardly anybody even knew these terms. And then there was this total newbie, really nice guy, but so over-enthousiastic and eager to be in on all the shit that it was almost annoying, named Ken Somolinos. A little annoying, and yet by the middle of the week we were kind of amazed by his mysterious ability to ferret out these little details. We'd ask ourselves "how did this kid ever even pick this stuff up? Did you tell him? I sure didn't..." It was baffling and yet impressive...

When we footbagbed at Steve Goldberg's house we learned for the phrase as shown already.

"NO GOLDBERGING"

which means no arguing :)

but the one we like or rather I liked a lot that Steve got a kick out of.

Goldberged - To totally pull a kick ass ownage move in 2 or 4 square.

For example, a kill shot that totally got me means "I GOT GOLDBERGED" and Goldberg Goldberged, and when I called it.

He then swiftly GOldberged me.

Hope you enjoy it, and if you don't like it, well

NO GOLDBERGING!!

Peace
